We won't serve them or theirs. They are not welcome at our tables.
#Trumpzi losers like this is what killed our business.
Maybe if you didn't intentionally go out of your way to exclude the largest demographic of people who play TTRPGs, they wouldn't ignore your stuff? Then maybe your business wouldn't die?
It is actually surprising, as Bernie is breaking ranks. NY Times editorial board put out a massive piece on Tuesday saying "Mr. Mamdani is running on an agenda uniquely unsuited to the city’s challenges" and - tacitly - endorsing the actual Jew running in the race (who, conveniently enough, copied that California senator and got his own video of getting pulled away after picking a fight with ICE)
Maybe, but we'll have to see what they actually do during the delay. Plus, the internet being the internet, even if they do improve things it's likely a lot of people will just write it off on full release since the initial reception was so poor.
- has nuclear weapons and 2) hasn't signed onto nonproliferation treaties should be bombed into the stone age.
So, who do you want to start bombing then? Because there are 8 countries confirmed (and almost certainly a 9th country) who have nukes, and only 5 of them have signed the nuclear non-proliferation treaty.
If you start by bombing India then you probably need to go after Pakistan at the same time (or vice versa) but geopolitically they are relatively stable. North Korea has nukes (likely not good nukes, but still nukes) but is definitely not stable. But, if you want an active warmonger who almost certainly has nukes I assume you think we should, as you put it, bomb Israel into the stone age?
Problem isn't really whether or not Iran gets a nuke. Certainly it wouldn't be good, but even if they do get a nuke I'm skeptical about their ability to launch it any substantial distance.
Problem is that, especially with Trump's embassy order yesterday, this makes it seem very likely that Israel is going to escalate things further in the Middle East by pounding Iran with missiles and bombers. And thus another war (likely much larger) kicks off in the Middle East, and the US and Europe should NOT be getting involved in said war but undoubtedly will.
Now saying? They've been saying it ever since November, and there's a subreddit with (as of me typing this) 71,353 members all about how Trump cheated in 2024. It's called somethingiswrong2024, with a description of "A community for people who would like to openly discuss the elephant in the room: the fact that something feels extremely off about the 2024 election results."
And, of course, the Jannies are perfectly happy to keep that around.
It's really the sports games keeping them afloat, and subsidizing everything else. (Well, Sims could probably stand on its own).
From an article from early May:
“Players across Madden NFL and College Football across console and PC grew double digits and hours played were up 68%, leading to net bookings of over $1 billion dollars – up over 70% year over year.”
By contrast
Meanwhile, the three-month period also saw the launch of Split Fiction. “This incredible title overperformed our expectations, captured global attention, and to date has reached nearly four million units sold,” he added.
Split Fiction peaked at 260k concurrents on Steam, and has 96% positive reviews, so looks like it was solid. That said, 4 million sales, retail price of $50, that gives them $200 million maximum. And I guarantee that Madden cost a fraction of what Split Fiction did to make since by all reports Madden 20XX has basically been Madden 20XX-1 with the player names changed for years. But the sports game players keep buying.
Why the heck where the cops called? Even if he did get violent with it, just walk away from him, close the door and wait 5 minutes. Someone that age will calm down, get tired out, or just forget what was going on then.
In his statement, PC Smith said he was not aware that Mr Burgess was 92 or that he was a wheelchair user at the time. He said: 'I was not aware of these vulnerabilities at the time when I first encountered him, therefore they did not impact my thought process when considering the most appropriate action. 'At that time I was totally focused on the knife in his right hand.'
Dude, even if the nursing home didn't tell you that when you arrived or when they called it in, he's only got one leg! How did you not notice that when you entered the room?
Seriously, the Jedi fucking suck. Diversity was absolutely not their strength. In a way, Star Wars was accidentally based in that regard.
If we take the Knights of the Old Republic games as canon (which I do even though Disney doesn't), the exact same thing nearly happened. Just prior to the games, Revan and his lieutenants did what the council would not and ended the Mandalorian wars. And in response, the council basically disavowed (or worse) all of them and as a result nearly got wiped out then as well.
Also worth noting that they said (in their announcement video about doing CSIO) that they were going to be updating some stuff from CSIO for Modern Day(tm) sensibilities.
So they threw the crazies a bone, and have now twice tried throwing them more bones to appease them and it still probably isn't going to work because they're not launching their kickstarter until July and 2 months from now everyone will have gotten over this.
And the issue that it can easily be manipulated by the coders. "give lesser sentences to poor black men because of their circumstances" or "prioritize the mother over the father in custody cases" are things that can easily be added to the models.
Even ignoring the 35 years, I think it was back in March that ICE said you can get assistance and a free thousand dollar bonus for self-deporting? So 3 months there.
