I usually like remakes as long as they're fairly faithful to the original, but with one major prerequisite: the game has to have aged poorly. RE2 aged very poorly due to its clunky controls and static backgrounds, so the remake was due. RE4, on the other hand, aged just fine. A remake doesn't really seem necessary to me.

That is quite literally how I was taught. Germany was rampaging through Europe, the Allies came together to form The Avengers, and they somehow won the entire war by storming Normandy beach.
