There are two big dynamics at play here.

There is only one way for white children to shed their oppressor label and join the righteous ranks of the oppressed: become LGBT. It is the only protected group you can choose to join. That’s why white children are swarming to LGBT identities. It is the new path of least resistance.
It also just so happens to be a path that massively suppresses reproduction. So if you want to become a good white, you need to adopt a lifestyle that will greatly decrease the likelihood that you will propagate your race/ethnicity.
