I doubt that's what's holding her back. That's actually thin by black woman standards. Her BMI is 27.2 - barely overweight. The average black woman has a BMI of 32.

Well, it does. A very small percentage of babies are born with undetected heart defects and they just...die. But it's a lot rarer than the public thinks. Probably close to 1 in 10000.

The overwhelming majority of "SIDS" cases are simple parental neglect. The data is all there and the correlations are blinding if you're capable of breaking free of the conditioning.

Yep. Someone bought the first game for me as a Christmas present, and I played it and liked it, but I have no interest in buying the second one, nor the third, until they release it all as one big game.

I thought FF12 was great. It wasn't really Final Fantasy, but it was a really good game regardless.

13 is where I lost interest. They knew better than to make RPGs purely linear back in the 80s.

It's only not murder because the medical industry uses a stone age definition of "dead": you're only dead if your heart stops beating. You could be missing your entire head, but as long as that heart's still going, you're "alive".

Histrionic isn't offensive. You're thinking of hysterical. Similar meaning, similar sound.

Have you ever heard the audio of him arguing with his girlfriend or whatever she was? They were having a serious conversation about their future together, and he kept his fucking cartoon voice going the entire time. Never stopped Spongebobmaxxing even for a second.

It's one of the most unpleasant, yet hilarious, things I've ever heard.

At first I thought you were talking about Rowling and was going to make fun of you. Then I scrolled down. God damn, that guy's straight out of a Nazi propaganda leaflet. Only thing he's missing is the rubbing hands.

Every single female anime/anime adjacent voice actress sounds the exact same and it's really jarring. I don't know if there are literally like three people getting every single role or if casting directors are all looking for one very specific female voice, but it's been a problem for well over a decade.

Male voice actors aren't a ton better, but at least you can pick a voice out of the cloud of sameyness generally once per show or game. With women there have only been a handful of those in the past 20 years, and half of them are retired now.

History according to the US education system went as follows:

Indian genocide
Slavery
Civil war
13th amendment
World War 2
Civil rights act

If it wasn't about one of those six things, it functionally didn't happen.

No, most anime viewers are children. They have no political opinions, they just make whatever noises get them the most validation from their teachers and peers.

Not that 90% of adults don't also operate this way, but you know.

In season 1 Wesley unlocked latent psychic ability with the help of some alien who basically told him he's a superhuman who can do anything as long as he thinks hard enough. This is never again mentioned. Not that it should be, because it's fucking stupid, but TNG is no stranger to the crew encountering something that could change the galaxy forever and then just ignoring it.

It still weirds me out how big everything has gotten. I grew up in an era when 100 megabytes was an absurdly massive game. FMVs and streamed audio were luxuries only made possible by CDs, which were slow as shit.

Now a 32 gig SD card is the size of a fingernail and you throw it away because it's too small to be worth using.

Nah, that's Stella Chung. She just has a fat face because she's southeast Asian. She's also covered in tattoos and it's basically impossible to find a picture of her wearing a decent amount of clothing.

Same. I was expecting him to sit there tweeting and drinking diet coke for 4 years while the world fell apart around him. I'm astonished he's not only doing things, but he's doing things that matter. He's playing hardball with exactly the kind of people who deserve it. It's only been two weeks so I'm not confident enough to call him a good president yet, but if the next four years go the way the last two weeks have, he'll be in my top 5 easily.

tl;dr, the amount a leftist cares about something is inversely proportional to the likelihood of them ever having to prove it.

Trump's approval rating is 53% among Democrats

Not to sound like a redditor but...source? This is difficult to believe.

I've never lost weight so fast when all I was eating was white rice thanks to a severe gastrointestinal issue. It's magic stuff, I swear. Probably related to the shichi fukujin that live in it.

He's looking at it from the point of view of a business owner who doesn't care about society. Of course it's financially better to hire two people for half wages. It's even better to hire ten people for no wages, but that's illegal so they don't do it.

There's exactly one thing the left has consistently gotten right, and it's that corporations are not your friend. Where they get it wrong is assuming that the reason corporations are bad is because of patriarchy or white supremacy or some other fictional force. The truth is the exact opposite.

I just looked at the screenshot on my computer (so I could actually see the whole thing) and now I see that this is literally a screenshot from VTM:B. I thought the title of the OP said Bloodborne 2 and this was a screenshot from the first game, which I have never played.

Now I understand why us phoneposters have such a bad reputation.

I've been boycotting Gillette for six years and I don't plan on stopping. The trick is to not try and boycott everything evil, because we live in an evil world which makes that impossible. You'll get fatigued instantly and give up. You have to pick a small handful of the most obviously evil things and rally against those.
