Haven’t played it. That’s actually why I skipped the 2. I was really hoping I could play half-life on it without having to use a PC but the stand alone headset is just not there yet. I’ve been mostly a console gamer since the first Xbox and I didn’t want to put together a PC just to play Alyx. I hear it’s awesome though and I’ve been halfway pricing parts for a build that can run it. I agree with you though there’s nothing even close from meta. The virtual chat looks like something that should be on the wii and most games on there feel half done and thrown together. I honestly think Zuck should just try to buy out the competition. Steam on the Quest is really what would make it a great experience.
I don’t think he’s wrong in my opinion. I have the Go and the Quest 1 and will probably get whatever comes after the Quest 2. It’s pretty mind blowing when you first put them on. The technology is really good and works well. They have some good games, Tetris is awesome in VR, and a few good YouTube videos. The problem is that’s about all there is. It’s a novelty. There’s just not enough good content to keep you using it all the time. If he can fix that I think he will start to get some traction with his headsets and VR in general. We’ll see.

Eh maybe. I’ve read a lot of his stuff over the years including his image stuff. He’s done some good work I think. I was a lot younger then too so it’s entirely possible it was bad, but I enjoyed it at the time. His later writing is lazy in my opinion. I avoid anything with his name on it and that used to be the opposite.
The comic intro of Miles was pretty lame. All of his storylines were pretty lame too. I felt like Bendis really phoned it in with that title. I liked the movie though, it was really good.

Dude, if I were in my 20’s I’d get one of my frat brothers, go get the marriage license, then start stacking the extra money to start a business. By the looks of it, polygamous marriages will soon be legal too. You could get the whole fraternity in on it a that point. It seems like a no brainer.
Good point and I agree with you. It seems like men are missing the boat here. For example, why aren’t single men getting married to each other in gay marriage states to take advantage of that legal status? It seems obvious that the benefits would be massive compared to dudes going it alone. Single men get screwed the hardest and the traditional marriage is long gone anyway. It’s just business, it doesn’t mean they have to stroke each other’s balls. Besides women don’t want to marry most men even with the advantages they would get. It’s just there for the taking.

I was holding out for Kenobi up until a week ago. I finally canceled and of course they release the trailer right after. I don’t think it’s enough to make me use the service again but I thought it was a decent trailer. As long as the actors and story are good I don’t really care about much else but Disney knows how to ruin a good character so it’s probably a toss up at this point.

But that doesn’t mean it actually sucks. I’ve played plenty of games that suck. This might be one but I haven’t played it. If I play it and it sucks then I’ll move on to something else.
