Judging by the video, it was probably teenage boys, not girls.

Universities have gotten into not insignificant trouble for attempting to restrict the freedom of speech on campus. Shenanigans such as creating "free speech zones" for example. So some of them go the other direction and try to ensure freedom of speech is respected.

Someone merely saying that any group should be genocided is perhaps borderline but it is not the same as saying "X groups should be genocided, and this is how we will go about achieving it."

The latter incites or comes close to inciting imminent lawless action. That is not protected speech. The former expresses an opinion that is predictably unpopular but popularity does not determine legality.

Sure the universities could have sat around and tried to predict all possible ways a code of conduct rule could be violated and made a list, then had someone study the list and abuse it with one thing not specifically stated on the list, because the list makers failed the impossible task specifying the myriad ways a person could bully a person/group. OR they could just have a simple rule against bullying and consider the context against freedom of speech. A case by case basis. Which is what the 3 presidents said they do when asked by Stefanik. But I guess doing that would treat everyone fairly and we cannot tolerate that. Because jews are beyond reproach.

He campaigned with the slogan, "Hope and Change" in 2008. By 2012, it was clear there was no evidence of any hope or change nor any reason to believe another four years would be different. Then Ed Snowden made it 100% clear just how bad Bush and how much worse Obama was.

Yet somehow, here we are, this guy who was paid to teach the Constitution to college students and who as president clearly violated every American's fourth amendment rights in blatant abuse of government power, is still active in American politics and media. Never faced any consequences. Oh, and Ed Snowden is still charged with treason and forced to live away from his homeland. Up is down, left is right. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.

Block YouTube shorts with a browser extension for YouTube and avoid all these problems.

Couldn't tell either way, as well. Luckily I stick to PC gaming and so will have plenty time before the PC release is even announced to see actual gameplay unfiltered by the marketing department.

“We are preparing to escalate this matter to the Supreme Court,” Smollett spokeswoman Holly Baird said, referring to Illinois’ highest court and also noting that the opinion at the appellate court wasn’t unanimous.

He should stop throwing away his money.

Or suited to be a career politician. Two professions where those who aspire to work in them would be in jail if they hadn't gained employment in said professions.

They state that women have better physical endurance (due to the action of estrogen), and since pre historic hunting was all about exhausting your prey women had an advantage. They even claim that women have longer strides because birthing hips allow their legs to rotate more.

Women Supremacist bullshit.

I like "How its Made." Theres a free version on YouTube that I've seen some clips from where they updated some of the original show with like a new narrator and modern graphics but reused the original manufacturing footage from the original. I'm thinking specifically of the how skateboards and or snowboards were made episode.

Otherwise the original is on HBO max.

Wasn't me, but its something I would downvote because its a picture of a tweet and OP is not providing a source or anything. Lazy, low effort post.

Climate change/global warming is a scam. Its the greatest one yet as unlike covid or terrorism or war, it will take a century to "happen" and be shown for the con it was all along. And the con artists of today will be long dead, having enjoyed the wealth and influence the grift gave them, repercussion free!

How about we compromise and say, keep gaming in moderation with everything else.

This is the same as with any small problems in life in that, if you ignore them for long enough, they become more prevalent and significant. The problems become more difficult to manage than if they'd been nipped in the bud.

Since Oregon abandoned its essential skill requirements for high schoolers, graduation rates have skyrocketed.

I wanted to know the numbers behind "skyrocketed" and the article failed to deliver:

SB 744 went into effect for the 2021-22 school year. The sky rocketing might be true going forward but [according to the summaries of graduation rates here, it was mid-60% in 2009-10 and made gains every year up to nearly this 81% grad rate.] (https://www.oregon.gov/ode/reports-and-data/students/pages/cohort-graduation-rate.aspx) 2018-19 was 80%; 78.7% the year prior. Few percentage points up year on year to the present, since the 2009-10 data. Maybe (probably) they had other (less official) shortcuts in place since 2010.

The author should have spent more time on the results of standardized test scores, that would be more impactful. Would also be an improvement if everyone focused on improving those scores instead of the graduation rate, which is easy to improve with all kinds of shenanigans like "allurus" is saying elsewhere in these comments.

I just copy the link into a different browser, Edge. That doesn't bring up the captcha at all.
