I can't believe I voted for that fucking clown. I remember I couldn't believe that anyone would vote for McCain. I watched Keith Olbermann every night and followed election talk on Digg.
He campaigned with the slogan, "Hope and Change" in 2008. By 2012, it was clear there was no evidence of any hope or change nor any reason to believe another four years would be different. Then Ed Snowden made it 100% clear just how bad Bush and how much worse Obama was.
Yet somehow, here we are, this guy who was paid to teach the Constitution to college students and who as president clearly violated every American's fourth amendment rights in blatant abuse of government power, is still active in American politics and media. Never faced any consequences. Oh, and Ed Snowden is still charged with treason and forced to live away from his homeland. Up is down, left is right. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.

Well McCain was also awful. I don't think most of us had a clue just how bad Obama was.
Yeah McCain was trash obviously but at the time I was totally naive about almost everything. I actually though Obama would fix things.
