I was literally just teaching my daughters this last night. Because of the curse, women's temptation is to take charge and men's temptation is to abdicate. Men must be strong leaders and lean in and women must be good followers and encourage their husbands to step up.
It is a curious history that doesn't get discussed nearly often enough. I am young enough that good Christian just meant vote Republican but with Trump 2024, they made it clear that good Christians were not their target audience but the good Christians just kept voting Republican because what's the alternative?
Bad news: from someone inside many American Protestant Churches, very few of them take a biblical view on gender roles. The amount of times I've been in the room while otherwise biblically solid pastors explain their way around Ephesians 4 and 1 Tim 3 is depressing.
I mean, the whole story is the world is coming together to save the planet. So, there is a Utopic UN level of diversity whenever there is more than one person on the screen. The leader of the project is a woman. White male lead is the only character with discernable flaws.
That's about all I can come up with having seen it recently and I had to really stretch to come up with even that. I'd have an easier time reading more based themes into it than negative ones. It was surprisingly absent (or I've gotten dull in my old age).
Why in the world would PC Gamers want to let Console 'Tards vomit stupid all over our PVP matches?
Same reason we "let" room-temperature IQ foreigners vomit stupid all over our western society. We aren't given a choice. Or at least, one you aren't allowed to discuss in public.
It is the same as every videogame. You get to feel like your masculine urges to conquer, master, and continue your bloodline are being fulfilled without you doing anything to upset the demonic order. It is a "safe" outlet for you to waste your time and energy without actually accomplishing anything.
Also, the simulated woman is made to be more attractive than amy real woman you'd meet in your life. She's pretty and agreeable and will ultimately fall for you. There is a set system and a set path to follow to get the outcome you want. The good outcome is guaranteed with the right inputs. In the real world, if you could make all the "right" inputs and still reach a failure state.
The modern world is designed to make young men fail but the digital world is set up so you eventually succeed. It is indescribably tempting to eschew the real world to live in delusions.
The difference is a man chooses, a slave obeys...
