I was listening to a podcast from 2017 (ancient history, I know) and the host was talking about the election of Trump (the 1st one). They didn't vote for Trump but AT LEAST he's better than Hilary because Hilary would drag us into a new war.
Refresh my memory, but was war with Iran the war he was worried about? I have a standing theory that Trump's 1st term was not scripted like the rest of the uniparty show. They fought Trump and he pushed back and won victories but when Biden took over,, it was like Trump 1 never happened.
Trump 2 is different. This war with Iran and backpedaling on amnesty seems to be right back in line with the overall script.
Yes, Iran was the war that every anti-neocon was worried about since we invaded Iraq in 03.
I agree that Trump's first term was largely him going it alone, which is why the CIA bitterly fought back for three and a half years. At some point between the first and the second term, or possibly in the second term, they got to him. Personally I think it was after he stepped into the January 6th beartrap like a moron.
Yeah yeah, hindsight and all that, but if you remember the shenanigans around that election dispute, moronic is exactly the word for it. Lawyer thots were going on Fox News making absolutely wild claims that they would never be able to prove even if true, and Q was in full swing claiming that Seal Team Six had arrested Pelosi and locked her in an underground bunker.
I still distinctly remember there were heavily upvoted fedposts on The Donald encouraging people to violate DC gun laws and bring their weapons to the protest because "we might have to have another Tea Party." They suckered in a lot of boomers that way.
Everybody could tell the election was stolen, they just didn't know or have the time to figure out how. Now Jan 6 has turned into another impeachment hoax - just more retarded shit liberals fall for every time.
No, turning point was Butler PA obviously.
After being shot he wanted to actually do things, getting revenge on "them" that shot him being a big part. The very night of he called RFKj, said what he wanted to do in 2nd term, and RFKj was like 'holy shit I'm in'.
The main issue isn't that 'he's changed' it's that you guys simply didn't listen to what he said, or it was wishful thinking. For example he was never against wars, he was against 'stupid' wars that take 20 years and don't accomplish anything. He was never against farm workers.
Guys, he never promised to cross the Rubicon. You need a different man for that, and I'd run him on an anti-Israel platform because he'll be called that anyway, and it's really popular and needed.
He specifically warned that Hillary would get us into war with Iran.
Fuck off with this "he didn't change, you didn't listen" bullshit. It's already a stupid war with zero upside for the US so don't try to weasel out with that "he said stupid wars!" bullshit either.
I'm getting so fucking sick of regime ball lickers.
Hillary would get us into war with Iran doesn't mean he wouldn't get us into war with Iran.
You guys are like literally retarded.
"Trump was never anti-war"
"Started no new wars," past tense, not won't ever start a war.
"we don't need the wars [in] counties you've never heard of"
You've never heard of Iran? lol
You don't even listen to the words he says in the clip that you linked. This is exactly what I'm talking about, you even now continue to hear what you want to hear and then get mad about it.
"I'm starting wars you can't imagine I'm countries you've never heard of!"
Setting aside your usual sophistic bullshit, what do you think "we will expel the warmongers from our government" and "I'm going to keep you out of wars" and "no, my rhetoric's going to keep us out of wars" means?
Let's apply this logic to the statement, "we had peace, we had prosperity, we had no new wars. We had no wars."
Apparently Trump meant that he was actually fine with starting a war, and also fine with chaos and destitution as well. Eh, that kind of tracks I guess.
Trump has always been very clear that nobody will want to mess with us because they know he will attack them. Peace through strength, not isolationism. Nobody could be confused about this unless they only saw out of context clips and intentionally discounted his persona.
A warmonger is somebody like John Bolton, who's not in the government. You could argue Hegseth is a warmonger, but he seems like the type to actually win the war whereas warmonger is more perpetual-war war-industry type.
OK, so did Iran mess with us? No.
That's a negative on the "I'll keep you out of wars" thing, too.
Trump's said for the last several decades they can't be allowed to have a nuclear weapon, their leader even said (more or less) they weren't going to stop doing that, and they apparently didn't stop.
They crossed our red line, so yeah they did mess with us.
Again all this policy was clearly stated by Trump.
Not sure if parody, but close enough to reality sad to say
He was at a rally in Oaks, Pennsylvania that day.
What evidence do you have for your claim?
I can find no one else on Scored making this claim.

I believe you are what is known as an interloper.
I rolled my eyes at lefties saying Bush was better during Trump 45. Now I unironically agree. At least Cheney and Rumsfeld et al. were smart enough not to directly attack Iran.
Cheney and Rumsfeld would have if they needed an emergency distraction from Epstein.
Trump's mentor was Roy Cohn, a gay Jew who died of AIDS. He also attacked Pat Buchanon for anti-semitism years before his 2016 run. He did a lot of things in his first term that set the current Iran and Ukraine wars in motion.
They had to let off some steam or the whole system would blow. They had been pushing too hard too fast during the Nigger-in-Cheif's terms.
Obama tried that war back in 2012, and others can elaborate if it was tried earlier.
