In a world where it is illegal to act against stockholders' interests, .01 percent is still a crime. It's just never a crime if big people do it to small people.

I know you are being sarcastic but imagine if it was the other way around...

Oh right, the constitution! Why didn't we think to use that to stop government overreach a long time ago?

A. I have not sought out movies as a pass time in years. The past twelve months, I've watched zero movies at my house. Zero on the road, and one or two at friends houses.

But, I went and saw three movies in theaters, which is more than I have in years. I plan on going and seeing The Backrooms in theaters when it comes out and don't have any plans to watch anything else legally or otherwise.

Nope. Unfortunately, the reality of being a parent is that if you are ever more than 10ft from your kids, someone is going to cause trouble. Not that you have to worry about kidnapping or that, you have to worry about Karen's that will try and "help" keep your children "safe".

Competitive games aren't even fun anymore due to the density of cheaters and people without lives/jobs.

Add to that the Skinner-box mechanics that are baked into "matchmaking" to drive you to keep playing and buying microtransactions.

Oh yeah, a lot of times, the land is "owned" by a religious organization so it's tax exempt but then the community members live their full time.

As much as I would like that to be true, there has been a noticeable uptick in mixed race couples. I can say that I have seen more White girl/ black guy couples walking though my local store than. I have white, young couples.

Why is it that everything that I would have loved 15 years ago now makes me shudder when I read it?

Still time to start planting your garden!

Allowing other countries to purchase land in the United States has always flooded me. Why would anyone think that's a good idea? You are allowing another country to conquer your land, they are just doing it without using force.

Which leads to, they are purchasing land with what, Yaun? Why do we let countries trade real goods for money that they print themselves? International trade without a gold standard makes no sense whatsoever. I'd like to buy a million acres of farmland, I'll be using Stinkobucks. They trade 2:1 with the US Dollar...

Delivering baby formula had nothing to do with the confrontation. I'm also guessing that they left out the question that prompted the answer of "I was in a hurry".

Not saying it's justified but I kinda understand.

Yeah, everything is an over reaction by the Bible-thumpers until it comes true...

It's not popular to say, but it probably has more to do with the divide between (((white))) people who are "book-smart" but have asthma and are adverse to physical exertion and White people who are athletic, charismatic, and more practically minded.

Edit: Think about the (((Hollywood))) movies and how the bookish underdogs are always the good guys that get their revenge on the good-looking jocks who bully them because they are "different".

This is one of the reasons I'm not all that concerned about an AI driven overlord. Any AI programmed by today's "engineers" is likely to be filled with so much spaghetti or logical contradictions that it will be functionally retarded.

Hasn't it been the "official" stance of the Israeli government for a while now that they want to "end American aid"? I know I heard this exact same thing before we got started with our "Two" "Week" "Operation" in Iran.

This but unironically. It's a known pattern but we aren't allowed to recognize that.

According to Side B (it's a whole thing) you can still identify as gay, hang out at gay clubs, act and speak flamboyantly, but as long as you don't actually act on it, you're good.

I've got to believe that the idea "people who define themselves by sexual degeneracy act sexually degenerate" will hit the mainstream soon. There have been too many examples of "Will and Grace lied to you" in the news recently for it to escape notice.

Not big news but big in evangelical circles: This week a pastor and lead proponent of "gay celibacy" was fired because he had an "inappropriate relationship" with a man. Sooner or later even the most naive will have to acknowledge it.

Proud gamewad here: This highlights how much the Internet has changed. Originally, you had to be computer literate to be online. This is from the time when you had to at least be literate to be online. Nowadays, all sorts of sub-humans and non-humans have 24/7 connectivity.

Locking you into an 18-24 month contract with them. They are financing you a phone but they will pay the monthly bill. If you ever want to change carriers or phones, you will have to pay the difference.
