Allowing other countries to purchase land in the United States has always flooded me. Why would anyone think that's a good idea? You are allowing another country to conquer your land, they are just doing it without using force.
Which leads to, they are purchasing land with what, Yaun? Why do we let countries trade real goods for money that they print themselves? International trade without a gold standard makes no sense whatsoever. I'd like to buy a million acres of farmland, I'll be using Stinkobucks. They trade 2:1 with the US Dollar...
Read about the USD's status as the world banking reserve currency and how countries are forced to trade in it and how the small list of countries that dont do this tend to become bombed and assassinated and starved and burned and so forth.

Realize that 70 years ago, this same thought process was applied to counties and towns without batting an eye. Your local political unit could just not let foreigners buy land. Now, the full force of the federal government drops like a hammer whenever a group of White folk start talking about founding a new town together.
China buying land or blackrock buying land = not much different.
Land should be owned by people, period. Of course we can have large zones for distribution centers, factories and such, our goals is not to be a nuisance to business, but generally speaking, land should be owned by people, from the people from that country. Exceptions can be made for giant cities like New York but even there...
