I've got to believe that the idea "people who define themselves by sexual degeneracy act sexually degenerate" will hit the mainstream soon. There have been too many examples of "Will and Grace lied to you" in the news recently for it to escape notice.

Does "gay celibacy" mean that whatever you do is OK as long as you don't have gay sex?
According to Side B (it's a whole thing) you can still identify as gay, hang out at gay clubs, act and speak flamboyantly, but as long as you don't actually act on it, you're good.
it makes sense if you separate love and sex. just like how straight couples can have abstinent relationships, the theory goes that the person can be gay and be part of a gay relationship, but simply doesn't engage in sex.
that's the theory anyway. in practice, the crossover between promiscuous whore and homosexual is so huge that a gay celibate is a unicorn.
