I was listening to a podcast from 2017 (ancient history, I know) and the host was talking about the election of Trump (the 1st one). They didn't vote for Trump but AT LEAST he's better than Hilary because Hilary would drag us into a new war.

Refresh my memory, but was war with Iran the war he was worried about? I have a standing theory that Trump's 1st term was not scripted like the rest of the uniparty show. They fought Trump and he pushed back and won victories but when Biden took over,, it was like Trump 1 never happened.

Trump 2 is different. This war with Iran and backpedaling on amnesty seems to be right back in line with the overall script.
