I always had Ash die because to me the idea of making sure the nuke was properly made was more important than just holding the line somewhere else.

It's why in Dragon Age Inquisition, I always did the mission where I time travelled because if the enemy could go back in time to fuck with stuff, I could lose the war before it even started, even if the expense is that I lose troops who become possessed by demons. That sucks but to me the potential threat of time travel is worse than the other that was presented to me.

I like the gameplay mechanics of Andromeda, it felt like a natural progression to add more features in to make combat less about hiding behind conveniently placed chest high walls. The constant bugs made it less fun because it broke all the time, but I could see what they had intended the game to play like.

Mostly for me the biggest disappointment was that the plot was terrible, cliche and shot itself in the foot by telling me who the good guys and bad guys were within the first few hours when that shouldn't have been done at all.

It stripped all mystery out of this new galaxy that we just got into by telling us what was happening. What it should have been was my crew and I finding ruins and hints that there was one other species already native to the Andromeda galaxy but then further in details made it seem like there were two of them, and in the end of the game I find one of both species pointing guns at them and I have to make a choice to shoot one, shoot both or if I found a ton of stuff throughout the game, I could shoot neither and end the game there with the sequels setting up finding out about how a galaxy as big as Andromeda only has two species left, when the Milky Way had over a dozen and more on the way for development.

But they blew their load not even halfway through the game and I found my space indians, teepee type not red dot, who didn't trust me but like ten minutes later are all about how great and trustworthy I am.

By their own admission the translators butchered the script due to them not wanting to do their jobs and Skies of Arcadia as a result in the western release was poorly received and people did not like the story and writing because it was terrible, which did have an effect on sales and future releases from the company.

Could not the company who made Skies of Arcadia sue the translators for what I'm assuming would be either breaking the contract for intentionally doing subpar work if not outright sabotaging their product with their actions.

It might get top reviews but just like Andromeda, this game will implode due to mismanagement, lack of competency and a general mucking up of every facet of the game. Considering the last games put out by Bioware resulted in the shutting down of their Montreal branch for Andromeda being a total failure and that Anthem is a laughingstock of a game. If this performs poorly, which it likely will, then EA will take a battleax and carve up the remains of Bioware just like they've done to every other company that fails to make appropriate sales numbers.

Good reviews don't mean shit if you don't have the sales to back it up and the sales will not come if longtime fans aren't able to convince new blood that this game series is worth it. And considering how crap their writing has been and how little I bothered to replay their games even as someone who loved their earlier works, like many here, I could not in good conscience tell my friends that this would be something to put their money into.

I played it for 2 hours and its the most generic “not mmo” that I’ve seen in recent years. The entire design is to put so much flashy shit on the screen about tuings you’ve done to meep your attention along with quests that are roughly 15-60 seconds long so you are constanly getting completions shoved in your face.

The animations are 100% ripped from straight from other games, the models are done the same as Raid Shadow Legends, where they make low quality full sized models and then shrink it down so you don’t notice how bad they look.

And everything is designed to be just on the otherside of F2P where you can pay nothing but you’ll feel slower until you do. That it also has half a dozen different currencies is intentional so you have a hadder time keeping track of what you have and need so are more likely to spend money since that’s universal.

As for the game itself it throws big numbers in your face to make it seem like your good but you won’t ever be challenged for a long time and even then its just get bigger numbers.

It’s a cash grab of the highest order, a.k.a. A Korean MMO. Don’t waste your time and definitely keep your money in your wallet for this one.
