From what Nerdrotic (a Youtuber who discusses the culture war) says he's been in contact with lots of people in Hollywood who are fed up with this woke crap, but are too adraid to say anything because they'll lose their jobs. It seems there are a lot more of them, as they're probably the ones leaking the scripts.
Because trying to make a movie about other cultures doesn't sell to anyone but those cultures. Hispanics aren't going out or tuning in to watch a drama about a Japanese emperor starting an all Japanese cast. Indians aren't invested in suburban black stories. But around the world everyone will watch the latest Hans Christian Anderson adaption or another action flick with white dudes because ultimately those films don't try to shove that this is White culture in everyone's faces. But the other films are very much, "This is our culture, not yours. You are just looking at it through a window."
As a result people of other cultures won't connect but the genericness of a White film where the culture could be described usually as explosions, castles and guns is easy enough for everyone to enjoy. Literally the culture everyone wants to join is the one they want to watch.
If you had every immigrant on the planet trying to get into places like Taiwan, Japan or Sri Lanka, then everyone would be watching East Asian films because that's what they want to see. It's pretty obvious once you scratch below the surface.

Minority men not so much, there seems to be many good actors, and the writing is rarely imersion breaking, but I now avoid anything that has black women in it, it's a clear sign it's going to be trash.
The acting is rubbish for one. Maybe just because there's a lack of good black actressess, to go with the massive demand, but maybe their woke points makes others afraid to give them direction.

It's followong the same (now) formulaic storyline of every other Disney+ show, which puts a strong male as the title to draw in foolish viewers, but cucks the male character, and brings in strong female characters who are better than him at everything, who can do no wrong, and have no imperfections. The female ends up being the hero of the show. It's absolutely shit story telling and manipulative marketing mixed with all manner of woke bullshit.
Isn't even exclusive to Disney, as we've seen with Netflix with He-man and Paramount+ with Halo. I've pretty much come to expect every single show/movie that is about a popular franchise to do this exact same thing.
