Do I think a bunch of her problems were triggered by obesity? Fuck yes.

Do I believe that doctors were incompetent and didn’t properly diagnose her? Also fuck yes.

Good point. I should have said I believe it is possible doctors misdiagnosed her.

To be fair, doctors are just pharma reps with expensive degrees though.

Yeah they're like IT salesmen who go down a checklist when you get a problem and can recommend you buy their branded items to solve easy issues.

Now how much of this damage done to the body was a result of the obesity you subjected it to for god knows how long?

Because the part of losing ovaries, portion of the colon and lower intestines indicated a REALLY serious medical issue to need that much of your organs removed.

Assuming any of their ranting is true and that their problems aren't now all in their head because admitting that losing the weight really helped them, especially losing about 30% of your body mass did give them loads of other benefits.

A lot of people don’t understand this. You’re always better off losing weight than remaining obese, but your best course is never to become obese in the first place.

Exactly. Were she never obese, she may never have developed the problems.

Why do these type of people think there's only one doctor in the world? If you think one doctor is wrong go see others, your insurance doesn't give a shit as long as they're in their large network.

If they all say the same thing, maybe you're just fat.

Well, I have anecdotal experience knowing people who only eat chicken fingers and French fries. No ketchup(to tangy) and maybe some corn for a veggie before being diagnosed with diverticulitis.

But a crappy diet your whole life can lead to some fucked up intestinal problems.

I know which problems aren't caused by my weight and which ones are, that's why I don't immediately trust my doctors or the ones I met in the ER when I was having problems. They like to blame it on my weight but it turns out it was stress exacerbated already existing autoimmune diseases or worse. It was real fucking fun being told my fat ass was the reason why I was getting these stupid fucking bumps and welts all over my skin it was just pressure from my weight. When I had a competent doctor turns out the first condition I had was MRSA and the second condition I had was vasculitis.

My friend hated his doctors in California (he moved to Arizona) at Kaiser. One doctor told him "you're pre-diabetic," and my friend responded "you're pre-diabetic!" Doctor didn't know what to say, so my friend says "do I have diabetes?" And the doctor said "no."

Every doctor I go to automatically asks "are those scars from your diabetes" or "Do you have diabetes circulation issues?" MRSA left the skin of my legs fucked, and the healing in them is slow thanks to it. They don't believe me when I tell them I have low blood sugar issues, then they see the test results, and basically stare at my like I pulled a duck from my ass and asked for soup with me quacker. Got the 'pre-high blood pressure' shit and blood pressure meds that did nothing but make me sick. Took it, no help, didn't take it, no help. Take a seizure medicine to calm my panic attacks, suddenly my blood pressure is testing like I'm normal sized. It's a guessing game, and most doctors are ignorant cunts.

Yes, but "pre-diabetic" is not nothing. It usually means you're having insulin regulation issues which means, among other things, that you get ravenously, painfully hungry even after you've eaten. Once your'e insulin-resistant, you're on a speed train to out of control weight gain and constant fatigue. The only way to deal with it is to go low-carb.

Chiari malformation is such a malfluence among doctors. I've watched doctors scream at people because symptoms don't fit the expected result. The joke goes "health, weight, in your head" and the response is "yes, near the spine"

Then you have insane surgeons who will take out half the skull to make sure the malformation is gone.

I had one person who could literally look behind herself, and the doctor asked about her weight.

If it's not something the doctor is used to, then it's not real.

The fact that people have caught on, and are using it for grift without pots, chiari malformation, or other maladies is not surprising.

Cramps and sleep absolutely are weight and nutrition related. From disturbed sleep come memory and problems and headaches. They see it time and time again, and it was under your control.

Maybe it was your problem for giving yourself 3rd breakfasts that confused and hid any underlying actual issue.
