Something tells me this booster will boost something other than immunity.

Get your first dose?
Why, let's assume first of all that everything they've told is true, then that means you should skip both the first and second doses as they don't work and just get the booster, which should work. And the only way that would be possible is if they reconfigured and adjusted what was in the booster.
But then that would mean all of the first and second shots are useless and should just be tossed out. But then you have the UK buying tens of millions of doses of a shot that doesn't work.
And then you have to consider the scale of production, it should at minimum takes a few months to properly adjust even the base formula to work effectively against a new strain that mutated to bypass the old one. Even after all of that, it should take weeks to make enough doses for even a small country let alone multiple nations totaling hundreds of millions who should theoretically be getting it.
But there's no wait time, a new scary mutation comes out that completely ignores everything from the previous shots and we're already ready for that with brand new shots.
Never are these shots completely scrapped to start with a new formula which one would consider that the variants have a way around and something completely different would be more effective.
Additionally, why are they universally failing, it's not being reported that only Pfizer recipients are the ones that are getting whatever variant comes around. But yet it's all of them. Not one company states they are starting over.
