There were no accurate records on the subject.

One of the reasons the Nazis forced the Jews to wear yellow stars was for identification, because otherwise it was impossible to tell German Jews from other Germans without looking at their dick. One haircut and a change of address and they are just another German.

Poland conducted a national census just before the war. This census included (for the first time) religion. It was collated using IBM mechanical database equipment; that is, punch cards.

Well over 90% of the Jews of Poland were executed. The Nazis made extensive use of the IBM punch card database to locate Jewish people.

Most of the records of Jewish people (individuals) and Jewish populations were kept by those populations. Rabbis kept records of births, deaths and marriages.

After the war those populations were dispersed or otherwise destroyed. A lot of their records went with them.

Almost all of the estimates are based on the extensive records kept by the Nazi regime.

Australians have an arrangement with the spiders. We don't shoot at them and they don't hold us down and stuff the gun up our arse.

Yahoo was in a competitive business space (search engines) and losing ground to Google and then Microsoft.

Google had Adwords which has powerful metrics on engagement. Google could run advertisements on webpages and then report how many were viewed, how many were clicked through and more importantly Google could target the demographics that advertisers were paying for, and show that this targeting resulted in better engagement.

Microsoft was late to the game, but their huge investment was giving them a search engine that was improving by leaps and bounds.

Yahoo employed Marissa Mayer as CEO. She was ex Google, and she sold the board of directors on her vision. She was Google Employee #20 and she had run the search division as VP. Stock shot up in the first year of her in the CEO role.

Reality failed to follow expectation, and the core business of Yahoo search did not grow.

Yahoo would exit the Search Engine business and find a new business model that would make even more money!

So Yahoo literally fired their Search Engine department. They licensed their search results from another company, either Google or Bing, but it doesn't matter which.

The idea was that Marissa could use her deep insights into technical risk to identify the Next Big Thing before it happened, then get in on the ground floor. This would return fantastic profits and make all the shareholders rich!

Marissa then proceeded to burn through the vast cash reserves of Yahoo over then next five years. She was looking for the next Apple or Facebook. Instead she invested in failure after failure until every last cent was gone. Yahoo got bought by Verizon.

Then she took her enormous salary, huge golden parachute and basically retired. She runs her own tech incubator called "Lumi Labs" which is more or less a vanity project.

If you had to pick which side of the conflict that the German Jewish community was on, would you pick that they were pro Socialist or Anti-Socialist?

Just asking.

Russian allied Socialists were throwing actual bombs at the time. Antifa was in the streets clashing with the Brownshirts.

The Socialists were aiming for an actual color revolution. Literal Socialist Terrorists were trying to assassinate their political opponents and bring Germany to ruin, so as it could fall into Socialist control.

Did you check behind the sun-visor?

No killing Hitler again! The last time some clown did that for giggles, anti-GG got a time machine somehow. It took almost a year of subjective time to fix!

Oh those things are absolutely related. I've done a case study on the fall of Yahoo. I'll tell you all about it (in broad strokes) if you want.

Guy, it is worse that that.

These "Yes Means Yes" AKA "Affinitive Consent" reverse the burden of proof and allow a woman to charge a man with rape (and get a conviction) at any time after the fact.

"Prove you didn't rape this magnificent woman, shitlord!"

These laws have passed in most of the major states of Australia and they have passed in many states of the USA.

Seriously, get a rental. Pay for them to go away afterwards. Get a passport, bro. Go on holidays twice a year to visit your partner and children.

Socialism is actually a very effective method of government. It has lots of advantages and can really deliver on those benefits.

It just has an upper boundary of population of about 300 people. After that planned economies become pretty shit, and the ability to allocate resources efficiently starts diminishing sharply.

I point out that this is an almost direct parallel to autocracy or despotism.

So I guess Marxists strive to reduce the population to an efficient, manageable level?

There are going to be AI Art detecting AIs. There probably already are. If they can use a tool to detect that it is not a real photo, then that is part of due diligence.

Prosecution "Your honor, this is evil filth thrown them in prison forever!"

Defense: "You honor, may I point out that the image has seven fingers on her right hand, as well as an unlikely level of visual symmetry. It is clearly generated by a machine."

... emissions-free hydrogen ...

In what reality is hydrogen "emissions free"?

Hydrogen is made from crude oil in a stupendously inefficient process. Unless they are making it on-site, the transport of hydrogen is incredibly complicated and wasteful.

Even hydrogen made by electrolysis, from electricity (made by burning coal or gas in Germany) is very inefficient!

Fuck I hate greenwashing.

Wow. Revel in that ignorance. Semantic arguments are a winner, right? Because if you can argue about definitions then you can't possibly lose!

Fascism is literally the merger of state and corporations. A partnership between corporations and the interests of the Government. It is literally the political model that is in use in China today. There is a member of the CCP on every single company board AND the state can, and does nationalize any company at will. The difference between a corporation and the CCP government (in china) is literally one of semantics.

As another example: In the 2000s the Chinese Department of Defense also raised revenue through owning a CD pressing factory to press and distribute pirate CDs and DVDs to the west. At the point where the Defense Department is self funding the difference between a Government Agency or Service and a corporation is ... what exactly?

Governments are governments because they have the monopoly on force and taxation. The government uses that force to ensure that revenue is raised to fund the state. That line can (and does) get very, very blurry. For example it is common for Oil Companies employ mercenaries to enforce their interests. That is just a single example of corporate governance.

So if you are looking to an alternative to government, then you might a private corporation that acts in the role of a government to do the things that governments do. You know, like "muh roads". As I have stated in my initial post; It isn't a good alternative.

Which puts us right back to: "Government reform please."

The thing that is so irritating about this conversation is that you actually agree with my position. You are just too fucking stubborn to make any concessions to facts or logic, in spite of your ignorance of the history of governance. Fascism was kind of a big deal, and remains the only (moderately) successful form of socialism.

So you win! Congratulations. You are the last man standing and get all the internet points! Have a great day.

In teens, especially boys, Zoloft can dramatically increases the chance of suicide. Unsecured firearms could make it much more likely that the suicide attempt was successful.

It sounds to me like the investigator was conducting a thorough, unbiased investigation. Concluding that there is no evidence of neglect or abuse is a major vindication for the Sack family. This investigation can be used as exculpatory evidence in the future. Ask me how I know.

It irritates me beyond measure that this investigation was prompted by a fuck-head at the clinic who is using the process as punishment, while hoping that CPS investigator will carry water for their agenda.

It is a real Feminist position that all heterosexual sex is rape. Lots of feminists will try to run cover and obfuscate the theory, but it is very much part of the doctrine.

Catharine A. MacKinnon wrote on the subject extensively.

Two quotes from her in 1991:

“Women are socially disadvantaged in controlling sexual access to their bodies through socialization to customs that define a woman's body as for sexual use by men. Sexual access is regularly forced or pressured or routinized beyond denial.”

Objectivity is the methodological stance of which objectification is the social process. Sexual objectification is the primary process of the subjection of women. It unites act with word, construction with expression, perception with enforcement, myth with reality. Man fucks woman; subject verb object.

Later she tried to walk it back and deny the specifics (wording) and implications of her statements, but she really meant it: Women can not consent to sex within a patriarchal society; Sex without consent is rape.

Note that Catharine A. MacKinnon is a card carrying Marxist and a major contributor to the field of feminist studies. She was at the height of her popularity in the 90s.

So we can't have No Government. You agree with me!

One of the alternatives to Government is privatization, which would be corporations. That is very popular in China. You don't agree?

Do you realize you basically restated my reply?

This is an End Run around the 5 Eyes agreements and arrangements.

The UK Government is prohibited from spying on UK Citizens. So it lets one of the other 5 Eyes spy on UK Citizens and share the data back to the UK Government.

This now removes the need for the arrangement.

You think NO government will fix it? Then move to Somalia!

Government is an evil necessity. Without government we can't have a state.

You want an honest, transparent government that is (relatively) efficent and gives good value. It happens that smaller governments are easier to oversee.

If there is anything that the last decade has shown us, it is that corporate governance isn't any better, and it is a whole lot less accountable. Do you think it is a better idea to replacing publicly elected and publicly funded government with giant private corporations? I don't.

And again we are back to "fix the government" or "Move to Somalia"

According to Sigourny and her journal, she got it on the third take.

But she had been practicing for weeks wit a basketball pro player as a coach.

History is clear, for almost the entirety of history, the top males have access to multiple women and the rest don't get the chance to reproduce.

One of the innovations of Christianity and the precursor Judaism was that of enforced monogamy. The top achievers get the top women but the commitment is for life. No takebacks. The rest of men get a chance at reproduction if they participate in society and follow the rules.

This was a fantastic benefit for everyone in far reaching and complex ways.

For contrast look at the middle east where multiple wives are permitted, or the fatherlessness of some sections of the USA.

Women have always hated having to be faithful. They have been working together to tear down marriage and monogamy for more than a hundred years, only to find out that the alternative is worse.
