I can't find any record of any 'World Jewish Encyclopedia' existing at any time.
So yeah, it's either made up or limited to some part of German occupied Europe (e.g. the part before June 1941).

I know reading comprehension is hard for you, but I want you to imagine this scenario: The year is 1939. The war hasn't started yet. However, we know exactly how far Germany's borders will extend at the height of the war. Now let's do a headcount on all of the jews in that region as of 1939. Assuming none of the jews flee the advancing army or take up arms against them. That's a potential 2.5 million jews to be captured and put into concentration camps.

Well over 90% of the Jews of Poland were executed. The Nazis made extensive use of the IBM punch card database to locate Jewish people.
Most of the records of Jewish people (individuals) and Jewish populations were kept by those populations. Rabbis kept records of births, deaths and marriages.
After the war those populations were dispersed or otherwise destroyed. A lot of their records went with them.
Almost all of the estimates are based on the extensive records kept by the Nazi regime.

Just the fact that they...didn't! There were death-books from Auschwitz, which were quite meticulous, but they only documented deaths in the 10,000's. These deaths were attributed to typhus.
The 'holocaust' deaths are completely undocumented. And the two main repositories of 'evidence' -- Treblinka/Belzec -- have never been investigated because, of course, that would mean 'desecrating the bodies'... that may/may-not be there.
Well... there was an informal investigation done by an Australian Geophysicist who used ground-penetrating radar to prove that the ground hadn't been disturbed, and thus 800K bodies could not be buried there... But then the jews threatened him, and paved Belzec over with jagged concrete so that no one could ever do any research.

You gotta understand that in hebrew, numbers and letters use the same characters. This leads to lots of number based idioms and double meanings. That's why "40" appears a lot in the bible - raining for 40 days and 40 nights, wandering the desert for 40 years, etc. It was a colloquial way of saying "a lot".
The same is true about six million. It's a prophetical number that occurs repeatedly in their theological texts. Something about returning to holy land after losing six million - I would look it up but it is fucking impossible to search for anything about this these days. If you believe the numbers of the jew then you at best making a literal interpretation of an idiom and at worst professing a belief in actual biblical prophecy coming true.
Not a bait post. I honestly don't know about this quote. I find if I post things with doubt in the title I won't get banned for asking about the holocaust/holohoax. I personally don't believe it happened like we've been told but I was curious what people thought here.
Prior to the war, there's no real incentive to publicly identify yourself as an ethnic Jew. In fact, there might be some disadvantage to admitting it, or an advantage to blending in with the local population.
After the war, there's a strong financial and moral incentive to tell anyone who'll believe you that you're a victim of German warmongering, and to line up at the trough for gibs.
