PolyMC is a fork from MultiMC when MultiMC announced they couldn't download modpacks anymore. Individual mods are still fine, but full modpacks became impossible. PolyMC just went 'Fuck that noise' and continued on.
I kinda see the same. At worst I see this as a coached move to go 'Don't add more fuel to the fire, the death threats are already constant and it's tiring blocking all numbers.'
At best, Kyle's a naive kid that's spent the last year taking in as little news as possible. I could absolutely see it more as 'BLM is great, we all need justice, especially those that are getting less because of skin color. We have some bad elements that need to be addressed, but the general message is good.' And well, I can absolutely see Kyle as a guy that's a little too eager to see the good in everyone.
I'd also recommend Terry Pratchett's Discworld series for the 10+ range. Excellent set of books with clear morals after you get past Pyramids. There's a few misfires (Terry is very...British in disliking guns and feels they give an unearned sense of power, and one book displayed that. There was also the one about sports that just felt odd) but it's overall an excellent set.
Become ungovernable. Demand accountability, rather than simply denying them their wishes.
'If you mandate I receive the vaccine, I want it in writing that the company will be liable for every issue every employee ever gets from the vaccine. If you do not want this, you should start pushing back on the mandates as well-just don't pay the fines, and when they ask why, tell them you need to know exactly which law you're breaking.'
Businesses demand masks? Ask them where the proper disposal areas for biological agents are. If they don't have them, demand they have one before they ask you to put on a potential death strip.
Yeah, I understand the quorum. My issue comes back to 'How is the quorom allowed to have standing when they actively admit they're just using it to blueball everyone else?'
While I am normally in favor of anything that makes legislators move slowly so they have to consider everything and can't kneejerk us into 53 world wars, admitting malice in your tactics should make your vote null and void.
I still don't understand how this can be allowed. They're paid to represent their communities and go on a vacation instead-I feel like the Republicans need to just ball up, issue a 48 hour ultimatum of 'If you don't get your asses back here, your votes are counted as abstaining,' and let them cry about it afterwards.
I doubt it's quite to that level. My money's on it being to make sure people don't live far past a retirement age, so that there's less money being distributed out of social security, rather than getting rid of the healthy workforce.
...No. The Westboro Baptist Church was a bunch of instigators that got money via 'I'm not touching you' little sibling tactics, and are about as trustworthy as your average BLM rabblerouser.
I can give them 'Broken clock is right this time' status, but don't forget that they've protested soldier funerals just to instigate fights from grieving friends and loved ones so they could be sued.
Do not assume they are too dumb to figure it out. They are malicious and should be treated as such.
They know no one really cares except for a small cadre of Mean Girls and 2-digit IQ normies, but they will use any avenue to destroy what's popular so long as it gets them an iota of attention and endorphins.
