It's that one Wojak meme showing every possible interaction between villain and victim in media.
Black on White? How dare you portray blacks as evil!?
White on Black? How dare you portray blacks as victims!?
Black on Black? How dare you portray blacks as violent!?
White on White? Where are all the POCs!?
A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.
I feel like we're definitely going to enter the age of Vidya films the way we just left an age of Comic films.
I have Porunga on speed dial.
Don't do it. But if you must, do not include ANY ties to Cross. Insisting on tying that bad ending to Trigger's triumphant conquest of fate will sour the entire experience.
I haven't done anything creative or developmental since New Year... A group to share progress would be a great idea! Feedback is like food for creativity.
I've got a friend with a downs son. Every picture she shares of him just has him beaming at the camera with the biggest smiles you've ever seen.
Lanky Kong Intensifies
Separation of Church and State? Yeah, that's what I thought....
It's ladder kicking it's ALWAYS ladder kicking.
Franklin was always just kinda there. He felt like one of the orbital characters that existed, but didn't really do a whole lot, like Shermy. He didn't have a gimmick, like Schroder or Pig-Pen. The most interesting thing about him was that he went to school across town with Peppermint Patty and Marcie, and thus was usually on their team when playing baseball.
And really, there's nothing wrong with that. If anything, making the black kid just another friendly acquaintance to Charlie Brown should send a good message. But of course, it doesn't count as representation unless they're the lead and speaking "truth to power" or whatever....
Graphical. Interchange. Format.
Guh. I. F.
Sounds like A Modest Proposal to me.
Pardon me. I feel an intense and vehement need to violently vacate my digestive tract in reverse.
I like that interpretation. There was a funny comic with him talking to Chi-Chi in bed about it and them continuing the misunderstanding, wondering what kind of weird stuff Vegeta and Bulma are into.
The thing I hate the most about this bullshit is it actively demeans any actual black accomplishments by lumping them all in with this kind of nonsense.
George Washington Carver did NOT invent Peanut Butter, Paint, and Lotion. But he did create a load of peanut-based products as part of an overarching plan to encourage crop rotations in the US. He did a lot of neat stuff, but you'd never know that looking at this nonsense.
That one makes my blood boil every time I see it. I know it's nonsense virtue signalling that's meant to flag "Same team!" But the fact that such a nonsense term holds such power because next to no one will think critically about it for five seconds.... It just sets me off.
Pizza Tower OST
Guy has good taste.
What video? Seems worth watching, and I need fresh work noise.
You can't have a black farmer be famous for farming! That's just a step away from being a slave! Somehow.
Seriously, GWC was a pretty cool dude. It's frustrating that people remember him as "The Peanut Butter Guy" when that's not even one of his inventions.
At this point, I think we NEED openly flawed people for general health. We've got so many hypocrites pretending their saints while lying through their teeth. Someone who is open and unapologetic about their faults is a refreshing level of honesty that I find far more respectable.
Leave it to modern game devs to completely misunderstand what made things work in the classics when making a remake....
Suffrage is so last century.
Literal viruses.
If anything, it inspires me to get up and at least attempt to improve myself. Even if I never get jacked, I can be better
