Largest ethnic cleansing in European history by the way. 12 million managed to escape with their lives. Millions more were brutally murdered. Nobody knows how many actually died.
In essence you can say everything that the Germans are accused of during WW2 was actually done to them.
The general population knew nothing of what was done either, yet everyone here is supposed to still feel guilty about what not even my grandpa was at fault for(he wasn't even of age when the war started, other grandpa similar age though I forgot the exact number).
I'd even argue the ethnic cleansing is still going on today now happening in Germany and done by people who should make our country prosper. Yet they hate the German people, they hate the way of being German. They're similar to white liberal women in America, just more destructive with more power. Just look at 2015's invasion. Hey fellow Scored Poster, do I have some background for you.
I want to talk about my Grandfather. You see, I am descended from a group of people called Volga Germans. My ancestors left Germany about the 1600's (or maybe 1700's) and migrated from Germany to the Volga/Pale of Settlement region of Russia under Catherine the Great. They lived in that area until the late 1800's, early 1900's, when the last Tsar removed all rights they had and began to draft them for conscription and a list of other treaties and reasons the Tsar decided to do away with. At that point, there was a split and some decided to migrate to the US, the others decided to remain in Russia.
Well, we all know what happened to the German Wheat farmers and anyone else of German decent in that part of Russia once the Bolsheviks came to power. Well, many ended up with their land stripped away, property lost, shipped off to gulags or just outright executed. Can you only imagine what the social conditions were during WW1 between German and Russia? Let's just say the only remaining Germans left in Russia to this day are primarily in Siberia, with 'some' still around the Volgograd area. Either way, what Lenin couldn't finish, Stalin did.
Now, let's move over to the ol' US of A. Now the Germans had migrated over there and tried to start new lives (only spoke German around home and farm), and of course had to deal with the gasp RACISM directed towards them for the WW1 and WW2. My grandfather (who came of age during the Great Depression) ended up enlisting in the Army./Air Corp (so that he could avoid any draft) and wanted to work on planes. Well well well...the US Army got him started in the plane business, but guess what? He also spoke fluent German. Guess who get's retrained as a MP? He does. For interrogation.
Let's fast forward a bit now to the 1980s. Now that I am a young lad, and he is my grandfather. Well, you see Scored poster, by the time I was in elementary school, the kids already knew of my 'ethnic' background and so did my teachers. Let me tell you how I learned about the 'Nazi's;. By being called one day in and day out during my childhood by my own 'fellow Americans' and my teachers. I was punished throughout my childhood for actions and wars and countries and ideologies that were long gone before I was even born. But that matters not. What matters is that you bully and punish children.
One day at his farm (in the western side of Nebraska), I was working with him and eventually broke down into tears and balled my eyes out when I told him what was being done to me at school. He was upset (visibly so), but he said something to me I will never forget.
'Anon, no matter what anyone in this world says about the German people, you remember this one thing: They are your Brothers and Sisters'. I don't remember the rest, but I never forgot that. My grandfather was raised under the (somewhat) eastern Europe/Prussian system. So he did not play fuck around games, and if you got on his bad side, you'd get put down without a word being said.
He never spoke about what he learned or heard from the German POW's during interrogation, but he also never wore any uniforms, talked about his service, and I only found his US Army paperwork after he had passed away. It was in a box that was about to get tossed out during house cleaning, which I grabbed and just 'had' to check. Sure enough, there was all his files. He never had any pride regarding his service, and if anything, I think he ultimately felt betrayed by his own government, and that he never wanted any part of that war to go halfway across a planet to fight against his own kin on behalf of a bunch of 'scheissters' (German for shitters) who gave zero fucks about him.

Actually yes, they are. The Soviets liked to claim that the Wehrmacht went around pillaging, raping and murdering in Eastern Europe. And that's a claim still made to this day. Unlike blaming Germany for the Katyn massacre.
The Germans were certainly going on a rampage in Eastern Europe, but mass rapes were not frequent - or at least much more rare than of the Soviet army directed against Germans... and even Hungarians and Russian prisoners.
The allies helped the Soviets cover up the Katyn massacre. Told the Polish government in exile to shut up about it or lose support. With friends like these...

No, they weren't. If they had been Germany would have never attracted hundreds of thousands Eastern European volunteers. Most Eastern Europe was glad to get rid of the Soviet Union. Because the Red Army actually did go on a rampage everywhere. Not just in Germany proper.
Did members of the German armed forces commit war crimes? Of course. That's pretty much inevitable in a lengthy war. But unlike the good guys the Germans actually punished the perpetrators.

And they lost the sympathy of nearly all of those whom they had in the bag (like so called Ukrainians) because of their brutality. That's why nearly all Little Russians fought for the Stalin who had so recently brutalized them.

Fighting against partisans is always a messy business. But believing they were so called 'death squads' is akin to believing in masturbation machines.
There were a lot of Ukrainian volunteers in the German armed forces. Also most Russians fought for Stalin despite getting brutalized and murdered for decades by the Bolshevists.

Little Russians (what you call Ukrainians) has been brutalized far more, due to it being the agricultural heartland of the USSR. And yet they fought for Stalin, because they recognized that to Slavs, Hitler was the greater evil.

It was designed to cause a firestorm in a densely populated area that reached temperatures high enough to completely incinerate bones. People out in the open got sucked in to get burned to ash and those unfortunate souls who were hiding in bomb shelters were cooked alive and the lucky ones were suffocated because the firestorm sucked up all the oxygen.

I think learning more about WW2 history made me look the world more differently and it essentially made me hate Britain in general, the way zionists took control of the country already long ago and every time it had its chance to elect a right politicians, they passed that chance. The German government never planned to ethnically cleanse Eastern Europe. You can scream 'BUT GENERALPLAN OST!' all you want it doesn't make it anymore true.
At most they wanted to "cleanse" the Slavic lands in the most positive sense of the term - by marrying already Germanized Slavs to Germans.

Did Hitler see the Germans as being above the Slavs? Yes, he did. For good reason. Eastern Europe was a shit hole for the most part. Did he want to cleanse Eastern Europe of the Bolsheviks and get it in the sphere of influence of Germany? Yes, of course. Did he want to exterminate the Slavs? Absolutely fucking not. He would've already struggled to repopulate the formerly occupied German territories. Settling the vastness of Eastern Europe with Germans? That would've been impossible.

I already know the election map and why it’s conservative in the East. My main concern is how most people don’t have much historical perspective. The Western half of Germany is the one with all of the American military bases and McDonalds.
That was never the plan. This isn't even any "yay, Hitler good" thing either. It's just clearly not what the plan was. Hitler, at least in his claims, wanted to save Europe. Ironically, he wanted stability. And he was willing to work with Russia, and others. Things got very messy, entangling alliances dictated all kinds of weird stuff, politics and power jockeying went on, and so much more, but they certainly didn't want to kill Europe, Eastern or otherwise.
Everyone was a monster in WW2. Everyone did fucked up things, everyone did war crimes. The war should have never happened. But, no, I don't think Hitler and the Germans wanted to kill 90% of Eastern Europeans. And we largely only hear one version and side of the story, that tries to paint the losers as the absolute worst people ever. And some of them even were, to be clear. Some of the Nazis were not just as bad, but actually worse than what we're told. Absolute demons. But, as a group, the stories about the losers of WW2 are often greatly exaggerated.
