I find it funny that you never really see any pushback about the fact that the Manhattan Project was originally building nukes to drop on Germany. But the fact that nukes broke the Japanese and saved them from fighting to the last is lamented by every leftist "historian".
Literal tornadoes of fire melting civilians. And the Allies were somehow the good guys while doing that and dropping nukes.
Dropping a nuke is more humane than turning a city into literal hellfire.
I'd argue it's still pretty bad and that they did it in addition to the hellfire compounds their crimes.

That's like squashing a bug vs spraying it with poison I'd think. Both kill it but one is definitely a worse way to die.
