Typical Republican: “we have a shortage of workers that we created intentionally, therefore we must import foreigners because we refuse to train citizens”. (twitter.com)

We cannot train enough American Doctors fast enough.

I have a solution. Deport half the patients, the ones who are here illegally.

And force employers to pay wages and provide working conditions suitable for humans, cutting into their profits? Screw you. Racist.

In Québec, the main reason we have a shortage of our own people's nurses is because the public sector demands crazy things from them like mandatory overtime to provide services for the now large invader population.

And I don't mean exceptional once-in-a-year double-shift due to a large accident. I mean routine, weekly ''lol you can't leave, you're doing a double shift''.

They instead flood us with third-word migrants that overwhelm every social services including hospitals, while relative few of them will be sub-par nurses and questionable doctors who don't care about having a blame on their file because ''disparate impact'' policies ensure they won't have equal levels of punishments.

We have a shortage of workers but we're firing thousand upon thousand of workers because... we have a shortage of workers. And that's why we need immigrants.

My nurse MIL was fired along with her whole surgery team and the whole thing replaced with Filipinos. Its sort of funny to me because she was just saying how there is no shortage of good jobs. Guess who can't find a good job anymore? Lol

We have a birth rate problem but we are discouraging the native women from having kids. And that's why we need immigrants.

Mass deportations to remove the >20 million illegals would greatly reduce the current strain on the system. Also...

https://x.com/USTechWorkers/status/1953795329834246333

Really Congressman! Between 1978 - 2000, not a single new medical school was added. The only one added since 2000, was Florida State University. This was a direct result of legislation signed by Governor Ron DeSantis.

In 1997, Congress froze the number of medical residencies it would fund and only in a 2021 appropriations act, opted to fund 1,000 more residencies that would be filled over the course of a few years.

In short, despite an ample and motivated supply of native talent to meet the demand for doctors and other skilled practitioners, Congress has opted to do NOTHING!

And why is it instead of investing in our own people, these clowns in Congress always opt for more immigration? Moreover, they never seem to ask, what is the impact on the sending country, when their doctors split to the USA.

The AAMC projects a shortage of physicians in the USA between 37,800 and 124,00 after 2034. We need to get serious about addressing that shortfall. And the only way is by creating and not importing more physicians. Because quality of healthcare matters as well.

Only Americans can make America healthy again!

My hospital is full to the gills of foreigners. Mostly filipina nurses and cleaning staff, Latino nurses and aides, haitians and jamaicans as well, pharmacy is filled with Africans and filipinas, and doctors are Indians.

Its disgusting and there are so many problems communicating between doctors and patients. It's basically a shit show and the white people are definitely a minority. The patients are elderly whites.

People who say this are pretending that "voting" means you can make whatever selection you want. They ignore the uniparty and the fake dichotomy it presents. They like to pretend that they're clever, or that following "the rules" will lead to "prosperity."

It's a fully broken philosophy. Which is fine, but, I wouldn't be so eager to always put it on display.

Let's assume that this were true. If it's impossible to train enough American doctors fast enough, you'd think that they would start now, while trying to plug the holes while this new generation gets ready. Or do they want to rely on foreigners forever?

To ask the question is to answer it.

They could also offer tax cuts on salary to retired doctors to do part time during the ~10 years necessary to bump new doctors numbers.

They have no intention to do that. The goal is always to normalize demographic replacement of Whites.

Read this carefully:

In the US, a bachelor's degree is required for admission to any MD/DO program.

That means at a minimum 4 years of college + 4 years of medical school + minimum 3 years of residence = ~ 11 years to become a general practitioner.

In India, the MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) is an undergraduate program, students enter directly from high school.

The MBBS medical school part takes 4.5 years + a 1 year internship = ~ 5.5 years.

The EU is similar, students enter medical school directly from highschool, and the program takes 6 years to complete.

That is why we cannot graduate enough physicians, our medical programs are a business centered on scamming as much money out of students as possible.

I have a med background so I can speak to this. Medical school is pure hell and it takes years just to get in. The universities LIE and say it required loads of degrees to he capable of passing, only for them to turn around and rehash all of it. The stress is so high that there are suicide hotline numbers in bathrooms.

All students use aderall to not fail. And 50% of the student body is female due to DEI rules.

They also prefer training women, who retire when they have their first kid, leaving the trained role unfulfilled, thus there is an ever declining pool of doctors.

he’s getting destroyed in the comments:

https://x.com/plumbnick/status/1953782189578924303

Congressman says H-1B is “critical” to fix the doctor shortage.

Reality: In NC, 97.7% of H-1Bs aren’t medical and most of the 2.3% “medical” roles aren’t doctors at all.

We’ve got visas for physical therapists, medical scientists, and hospitalists… while capping U.S. med school seats, burying students in debt, and shutting out military medics and rural kids with 4.0s.

This isn’t about patients. It’s about keeping corporate medicine stocked with cheaper labor.

How is this for a compromise?

You can employ an H1-B, but for each one, you must fund a scholarship (only available to citizens) for a student all the way up through the same qualifications as you're asking for the job. Perhaps annually.

Want to hire an Indian physician? You're paying to put at least one American through medical school.

Trains American workers, makes H1-B's more expensive, and the left can go jerk off about "muh free college." Also, deport all the illegals putting the drain on the medical system in the first place.

How’s this for a compromise:

  1. Kill all illegals, no exceptions.
  2. Cease all legal immigration and “work visas” for a period of no fewer than ten years.
  3. 10% tariff on all imports–no exceptions–increasing at 5% per year.
  4. Cease all government-backed loans for higher education.
  5. Cease all personal income tax.
  6. Cease all personal property tax for primary residences.
  7. Burn BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street to the ground.

  1. Allow me to write my own prescriptions. I don't need some nitwit white coats idea of care. I'll handle it. I've got the internet. I'll be fine.

It's an industry built around mismanaged God complexes. These are the same group of fucks who took Ivermectin off the market because it worked for COVID. Unless you stood up to that, you are easily separated from your morals, and we do not need to fund your career.

What do you think would need to happen to enforce all that?

Second American Revolution. A series of asymmetric attacks on key points of infrastructure and a psychological terror (or psychological conversion) campaign against the people in government who actually maintain the systems in place (no, the “elected” officials aren’t those people) in order to destabilize institutions such that they no longer have the power of enforcement for their rules. Then the establishment of local, independent governmental rule with the knowledge that the US military will eventually be turned on those regions and that they have to shoot to kill immediately when this happens.

So it won’t ever happen because people would rather die to defend their enslavement and genocide than stop it.

We have a shortage of wage slaves since they started working for themselves.

There was a massive wave of entrepreneurs when they got laid off during the lockdowns. Many companies assumed they would just walk back when it ended… they did not.

The U.S. government could just make it so it doesn't cost Americans 200 grand to become a doctor which is basically some hardcore gatekeeping. But nah, they'd rather have doctors working for minimum wage because think of all the profit for the shareholders who own hospitals and other places where doctors are needed. Obviously, no sane person wants to take out a 200 grand student loan hence a lot of Americans are not becoming doctors. Yeah, it's all by design. Follow the money. The profits from having doctors who are slaves will be so fucking massive. They don't care if all the doctors will be Indians or Africans or whatever because it wont affect them personally. Because they have so much money, they can just receive care from any doctor they want in this world.
