We have a shortage of workers but we're firing thousand upon thousand of workers because... we have a shortage of workers. And that's why we need immigrants.

My nurse MIL was fired along with her whole surgery team and the whole thing replaced with Filipinos. Its sort of funny to me because she was just saying how there is no shortage of good jobs. Guess who can't find a good job anymore? Lol

We have a birth rate problem but we are discouraging the native women from having kids. And that's why we need immigrants.
