"all cultures are equal" somehow, despite all evidence

Further proof New Zealand is declining further into a leftist utopia. Reddit of course absolutely fawns over this. I already find the Haka dancing physically revolting from third hand embarrassment, but to see coddled feminists do this and think that it is somehow intimidating really shines a light on just how warped their sense of reality is.

If someone starts screaming and doing that crap, then it should be considered an open invitation for mutual combat and I would absolutely love to see the reality come crashing down on their fairly tale of thinking chanting like that somehow correlates to physical power.

Imagine a bunch of white dudes responding by heavy metal screeching, head banging, and throwing up the devil horns. Meet physical intimidation with physical intimidation.

Or better yet, just openly laugh.

Why respond to a war dance with a musical performance? Let's imagine a bunch of white dudes positioning the gatling guns on the next hill over.

With a snare drum, of course.

Only a matter of time before it becomes open season on the farmers and ranchers. Their land needs to be redistributed after all. South Africa part III.

I lot of Nz is actually pushing back, it's just that the crazies are going even crazier and maori groups are even demanding some kind of apartheid. The news media is also completely corrupted

r/ActualPublicFreakouts did some deleting and closed the comments. It's more based than regular publicfreakout but has a fag mod

Such unbridled fawning faggotry in the comments from OP. Anything less than starry eyed fetishization is deleted

Context from NotTheBee makes this all the more outrageous.

https://notthebee.com/article/maori-party-in-new-zealand-rips-equal-rights-bill-shuts-down-parliament-with-haka-dance

Hana-Rawhiti Maipi-Clarke did the Haka with her fellow Maori Party members while ripping up an equal rights bill, shutting down the parliament.
Because voting "no" wasn't cool or viral enough.

Basically, the treaty originally signed with the Maori in the 1840s has led to that group receiving particular treatment under the government and special favors in the law, while other racial groups don't enjoy those benefits.

Under the proposed legislation, the treaty principles that would be defined in law are:
that the government has a right to govern and that parliament has the full right to make laws
that the rights of Māori are respected by the Crown
that everyone is equal before the law and is entitled to equal protection under it.

already more privileged than other groups

literally makes a song and dance about losing said privilege and things being more equal

Sounds about right left.

All animals New Zealanders are equal. Some are just more equal than others.

This sum it up?

Seems these people are ungrateful.. british couldve wiped them all out and fuck the maori out of their women. If the british or some other european countries never colonize them, they would still be barbaric and primitive. Lawl.

They had no problem committing a genocide against the moriori, they wiped them out, ate people and kept the woman as sex slaves.
But now they complain that Europeans treat them unfairly by demanding equal rights.

Do women traditionally do the Haka? I thought only the tribal warriors did it? Anyone know

Historically I believe the latter, but more recently every women’s sports team thinks they can do it and thinks it will somehow be intimidating in the modern age. It’s very similar to the Indiana Jones sword vs gun guy scene lol

it's an intimidation thing for war, that's why women look so goofy doing it. it's not for them.

Hilariously when they performed the haka against a Japanese team the japanese misinterpreted the words "Ka mate ka mate" as "Ganbate Ganbate" Which means "Do your best! We're rooting for you!" So the Japanese thought the NZ team had created a song and dance just for them to wish them luck and it had the opposite of its intended effect.

They found one dance in one place that was performed by Maori women, so that obviously means all war dances were done by women everywhere too.

Because Intersectional Race Marxism.

Alright I don't know enough historically about New Zealand but them using the word 'treaty' REALLY made me suspicious to look past them doing that dance.

Is this a government overreach and power grab by something that should be enshrined by treaty?

New Zealand pretty much cucked themselves hardcore to the Maori.

What's the difference between Australia and Eastern Australia? At this point, not much.

The natives are Polynesians rather than Austronesians. So +15 IQ points on average.

Maori were good foes. They came up with forts and methods of fighting the British that were hard for the Brits to adapt to. The Polynesians in general were great navigators and explorers. The Brits won because of superior technology and supply lines that stretched across the world.

Today the New Zealanders are cucking themselves silly over cultural guilt because bad things happened in the past.

I mostly find it ironic that New Zealand is, and will forever be MAORI land, as the indigenous people who are the rightful stewards of the islands....who got there LITERALLY 300 years before Europeans.

That 300 years mean the Maori have eternal rights.

Didn't these people genocide another tribe by enslaving and eating them?

Sounds right wing to me. Why do they protect stone age chuds?

Oh ya. They're brown and libs fucking hate themselves.

Yes, Polynesians widely and commonly practiced cannibalism in all of their territories. It was one of the things that most appalled the Europeans and let to such a missionary influx into the area.

JFC the Haka is so overplayed, might as well be New Zealand Hula Hula dance welcoming visitors.

Fucking peak cringe, even in Rugby is cringe AF now.

This is the first time I've read the word "haka" and so I thought op was using a cheeky euphemism for taking a shit. lol

This was somehow more cringe...

I thought haka was a type of chinese food. But either way, eating noodles or flailing about, both aren't particularly useful for a hearing.

I thought it was for war and funerals and other ceremonial things. Not just a congressional hearing.

I've seen the Rugby team do it, and I've seen it done at funerals. But not a hearing. Until now.

I guess it's a really loose translation from it being an act of intimidation at war, and an act of ceremony done for loss of a loved one down to having to sit and discuss things in a semi legal manner.
