Liberal complains about the rise of violence towards women in...romance novels...Yet isn't smart enough to realise who reads them and who writes them (twitter.com)

"There's too much violence in women's literature, its so masochistic!"

Looks at who are the MAIN audience of Re Do of Healer and every serial killer podcast/documentary.

Women are really fucked in the head as what do guys want? A cute girl that gives them attention, we really be Subaru in this world lol. There's a reason why most weebs consider Marin Kitagawa peak.

I liked Redo of Healer... ;>.>

And I guess I have to watch Dress-up Darling now, too. I'll do it after Odd Taxi, I swear.

The anime is great but I'd read the Manga for My Dress up Darling

Chapter 107 made every weeb happy with that result.

Of course it made people happy.

It came after like 30 chapters of a bunch of girls sitting in a circle talking about their feelings and fashion with fucking nothing happening.

It was literally a return to form designed to bait back the huge amount of people that dropped it.

Oh not just that, weebs are now using it as a pallette cleanser after Oshi no Ko's ending...

Glad I never got into that one, I couldn't get past the first volume and the fanbase only made it sound worse by being insane.

Honestly, as an obsessive romcom consumer this year has been absolutely Peak with my niggas getting Uzaki, Nagatoro and Marin to all confess.

The first episode or two of Redo of a Healer had all sorts of very interesting plot lines started and 90% of it went into the trash to give full time to BDSM degradation porn and furry porn.

So much wasted potential.

"Women don't naturally want any of this, it's all a false consciousness induced by The Patriarchy!"

  • Says the woman who hasn't been fucked properly in her life because all her boyfriends are male feminists.

This is how we end up with the "stupid, sexy, Trump supporters" meme.

Mate if you want to both laugh and cringe, check out some of their raceplay/dom conservative fetish forums.

They REALLY get into the whole 'turn me into your submissive toy' kind of mindset. Maybe this is the extreme end of what no father in the household does to people?

Look no further than handmaid’s tale. Super plain bitches fantasizing about the patriarchy literally holding them down and breeding them “against their will”.

I'm sorry Helen but you don't qualify for rape, the best we can get you is artificial insemination as the men would rather wank off in a cup than fuck you.

I’ve never watched that show, so I didn’t realize that. That is very funny

Edit: the fact that they sell 3XL sizes for those seems pretty inaccurate

3XL sizes is pretty accurate.

Unless you're saying it should be 6XL, then yes, you're right lol

▲ 2 ▼
– poherf 2 points 1 year ago +2 / -0

No, I meant it’s not accurate to the show. All these women wearing red think that if we lived in the Handmaid’s Tale world, they’d get to be the rape slave for the rich, powerful, handsome men. I’m pretty sure those guys would have a “no fatties” policy

To be fair, the usual context is them ranting about anything short of post-birth abortion being "forced pregnancy" so the breeding part is on topic.

It is. They are fetishizing something they emotionally and psychologically need. They need a strong, masculine, figure. They fetishize that as something abusive because it's the most masculine thing they can think of.

...I wish I was surprised that these are a thing that exist.

As for fatherless behavior... eh. Alot of women really, really hate being in charge. At the end of the day, they want the safety of being told want to do. Mind, that doesn't stop that from getting caught up in some crossed-wiring, hence their rather schizophrenic behavior from time to time...

Women want to be tricksters. In control, but not in charge. Power, but no responsibility.

Well considering how much of “romance” novels involve basically rape and y’all still lap it up, it seems to be women’s fault.

In college, with a bunch of friends we had a good laugh with one dramatically reading a ''women's romance novel'', trying to acurately predict when the Mary Sue character would be ''ravished rolling in the grass'' or something.

It happened alot.

A common complaint from women is that you are somehow the cause of all of their emotions. So if they fantasize about being brutally raped, that's your fault and you're basically raping them. Fights over "I dreamt you cheated on me" are a common occurrence.

Fights over "I dreamt you cheated on me" are a common occurrence.

If you like to escalate things, point out that she made you have sex in her dream without the consent of you or the other woman, so she's a dream double rapist.

My god, I love this so much.

"God I need this one--she fucks her uncle AND both of his kids." ... "Didn't you read that already one Kindle Unlimited?" ... "Yeah, but I need the hardcopy."

Look it up on Amazon. "Credence."

The first review:

Ignore the negative reviews. The love story is unbelievably good. The spice is SPICY. It takes a while to finally get to the spice, but once it starts, it’s unstoppably hot. The taboo component is not for everyone so read the trigger warning beforehand. If you’re open minded, you’ll love it. I love this book. I cried when it was over. The epilogue healed my heart. It is sexy, suspenseful, unique, and captivating. This story stayed with me for weeks. I still have not recovered. I doubt I will ever find a book like this one. It is that good. Stop what you are doing and buy it.

If you are actually curious, apparently discussing/mocking some of these seems to be a genre. I know because someone in the tweet comments mentions it.

Apparently Credence was big on TikTok at some point. I'd like to think because it was so atrocious. I don't think even TikTok is that degenerate. Tumblr, sure. Anyway, point is, there are pages of YT videos on Credence...which is both hilarious and depressing.

Before we start sounding like boomers with talk like this - this shit existed WAY before the Internet. These trashy romance-rape novels were being sold at supermarkets and shit too. The Internet didn't start it, it just accelerated it.

Men are visual creatures; women are emotional creatures. It's not enough to watch a woman getting fucked on a screen; she needs to how the main character feels about getting fucked.

Nope. Inspired by other comments here, I looked up some.

Checks out so far. Others posted about Credence, and Does it Hurt. I looked up Bride, and Priest. All look like how they're described in the video.

Priest looks nasty; it's double degradation/corruption, I assume, from the description. Men forsaking God to humiliate and control the women, of course because the female leads are so irresistible or whatever.

No, I doubt they're making stuff up. Remember that 50 Shades of Grey started out as a BDSM Twilight Fanfic, and I really doubt that the genre has gotten any classier since that had its explosive success.

My favorite part of the tiktok.

"In this one, he's giving her back shots, while drowning her in shark infested waters!" ... "Why do you look so excited?" .... "I'm not.." furtively grasps at book while walking away

Ok, first I had to look up "back shots". Ok, got it.

Next, look up the book on Amazon. "Does it Hurt"

Yea, but do any of the male leads spread their legs too wide on the subway? Checkmate GoomerGoobers!

I still remember once while checking out female targeted erotica to see what gets them off, and finding a manga where the female lead is kidnapped and chained to a bed in a diaper to be used, then after escaping some time later she returns to capture her attacker, cuts off his arms and legs, and keeps him in a cage in her home to use as a pet in as many depraved ways as the author could imagine. I swear I am not making this up.

That’s obviously weird and fucked up sounding, but from a purely intellectual perspective it does make me curious about the target audience. What factors make them have both a rape fantasy and a revenge/power fantasy at the same time? I’d kind of expect to see one but not the other.

Bride:

Misery Lark, the only daughter of the most powerful Vampyre councilman of the Southwest, is an outcast—again...alliance between the Vampyres and their mortal enemies, the Weres, and she sees little choice but to surrender herself in the exchange—again...

Weres are ruthless and unpredictable, and their Alpha, Lowe Moreland, is no exception. He rules his pack with absolute authority, but not without justice. And, unlike the Vampyre Council, not without feeling. It’s clear from the way he tracks Misery’s every movement that he doesn’t trust her. If only he knew how right he was….

Because Misery has her own reasons to agree to this marriage of convenience, reasons that have nothing to do with politics or alliances, and everything to do with the only thing she's ever cared about. And she is willing to do whatever it takes to get back what’s hers, even if it means a life alone in Were territory…alone with the wolf.

Yeah.
