So depending on the women they get on there, it might turn less into a military vessel, more into a breeding facility...

Either rape allegations or pregnancy to avoid icky deployments

It all gets pushed under the rug when the men put on a wig.

the other half that don't get pregnant and actually deploy get retasked with cushy TOC, MWR, and DFAC jobs within the first few weeks in country. They never go on actual missions to do their jobs. My third truck's gunner was a mechanic from another unit who got loaned out to us to fill a slot because our female 'soldier' got moved to the TOC.

That sounds like a blessing in disguise. Do you really want to depend on women when shit hits the fan and in life of death situations? I sure as as fuck don't.

IDK what kind of ship this is, but are they going to surface from a 6 month deployment when a woman gets pregnant?

This might be the least gay boat ride those Navy fellas have ever had.

Well I certainly feel safer. I remember when I got out of boot camp a WW2 vet told me the military wasn’t as strong as when he was in. Guess I’m glad he isn’t around to see it now

Colonel Hackworth claimed this began when the WWII vets went slack after the war and eased on training to pacify the public. "We live in a post-war nuclear world, why does my little Johnny have to learn to do 100 pushups and use a bayonet?"

Half of them aren't even at attention correctly. Even for the Navy that's fuckin atrocious. What a bunch of goons. God help them if their helmsman is a female.

The Navy got busted just this year for having a Commander who took a photo op with his scope mounted backwards.

They are well into the point where the men aren't much better than the women.

They just got busted having a diversity hire woman breach security by installing Starlink on a Destroyer so she could watch her telenovelas too.

Installed a Starlink on her ship. Without permission. Added a bunch of COTS wifi extenders so she and the chiefs could use their phones across the entire ship. Repeatedly abused her authority to bully subordinates to not report her. Lied her captain about the system. Lied to his replacement about the system. Fabricated documentation to "prove" the system was only active in port. Lied about the system being hers (when the account was in her name).

Received a one-step reduction in rank as punishment.

New Jersey’s commanding officer Cmdr. Steve Halle said during a ceremony at Naval Weapons Station Earle in Middletown, New Jersey to mark the commissioning, "You operate the most complex platform on the planet and you continuously strive for excellence. I’m amazed and humbled at what we have accomplished. Our superior professionalism is enhanced by our crew integration and our diversity. We have exceeded expectations at every turn and overcome every obstacle set before us," Fox News reported.

The ensuing rape allegations and pregnancies beg to differ.

Modifications to the submarine to reach this goal include additional doors and washrooms to create separate sleeping and bathing areas and lowering some overhead valves to be easier to reach and installing steps by triple-high bunk beds and stacked laundry machines.

Our “equals” require steps to climb a coffin rack, go figure.

Gaucher said that in the past five years, the number of female officers and enlisted sailors in the submarine force has doubled and tripled, respectively. As of August, 730 women were assigned to operational submarines. This comes after the Navy ended a ban on women serving aboard submarines.

No, it came about as a recruiting and bonus incentive campaign.

Obstacles?? Lol

Anyone who has studied battles from real wars on even a surface level knows that this type of crew would be an absolute disaster in a real combat situation.

"lowering overhead valves"

Oh god, as a tall, tall man, I can already predict all the taller submariners scalping themselves on valves that are lowered below 6 feet to let the poor 4 foot tall women reach them.

so it's a DEI way to say it's got female barracks and female bathrooms?

What I was going to say is they self-contradicted. If the males and females were "fully integrated," they wouldn't need separate shit.

"Should be build for performance?"

"No, let's install more than twice as many facilities as needed on something where space is more than just a premium, it could even save lives."

I would feel bad for those men if they weren't joining the USZog army in a post-2020 world. They will do twice the amount of work needed to run the vessel while enduring the harpies berating that they're making the experiment look bad.

Just keep women (and communist) hands away from the button, please for the love of Humanity.

What makes it even more bizarre is that such a headline would've had an entirely different kind of meaning 20-30 years ago. A meaning that while probably still a little retarded, wouldn't have been anywhere near as retarded as what it means in today's clown world.

Did you know that no sub has ever sank another sub while both were submerged and moving on their own power? Our sub force, outside the nuclear/ballistic missile component, is pointless.

That's a stupid comment and metric. I guess since only one battleship sank another battleship in all of WW2 (shoutout to USS Washington) and that means battleships must be useless because they aren't used symmetrically.
