This shit pisses me off, specially when governmental agencies do it.
I lost any confidence I had in Elon when he backed off from removing the "block" feature. Twitter blocking is not blocking, it's banning, and, yes, you should not be able to ban people from public posts.
For the record, Bluesky (built by the now-burned useful idiots fired from Twitter) describes the ability to disable comments as a "safety" feature. I think we take for granted just how few people recognize that word as a euphemism at this point.
The fact there is a distinction between blocking and muting is criminal. It should be solely the same thing.
Because I'm fine if you don't want to listen to certain responses. It's not fine to simply be able to prevent anyone from responding to you bullshit.
Need to have a button called Side Tweet where you can reply and comment as usual only thing is the OP can't read it, when they click it will give them a passive aggressive response that these comments are blocked to them for emotional protection purposes.

Trying to look back to make sure I'm not rose tinting my memory, was coloured hair EVER attached to attractive women or was that exclusively Goths, Punks and Emos with only jet black hair or green hair?
They did a few other colors, but yeah, I think it was mostly goths pulling it off. Dark blues and such were in their wheelhouse too. Also, rare, but could be pretty dang cool; white/silver hair. Weird but really cool look, when done well. Also, barely counts since it's just an exaggerated natural color, but I've seen bright red look good too.
Nowadays dyed hair is reserved for the freaks, though, and not the sorta cool edgy freaks...who barely even seem to exist nowadays, and who probably want to distance themselves from these other freaks as much as possible. They probably wear suits and ties now or something.
It's astonished me for years, but it's just wild that one of the big young people fashion trends is to make yourself as ugly and unfeminine/unmasculine as possible. Androgynous ugly is a massively popular look for young people. It's insane.
Most of these land whales realize they will never look good, so they put all their effort into trying to look bad so that at least people will notice them.
They also want to encourage everyone, including those with good genes and/or a willingness to stay in good health, to look just as wretched as they are. When everyone's ugly, then no one is.

I wish it was that simple, but I don't think it is. That's a part of it, but it really does seem to be deemed virtuous to look androgynous.

All the "red flags" like colored hair and tattoos and piercings we talk about now were once attached to attractive women, but part of what made it attractive was it signifying rebellion, taboo, and all sorts of societal norm breaking. That's pretty normal to be attracted to, especially for men as it usually meant that girl would fuck you like no other.
Now, just like back then, its used by women to constantly chase not hating themselves for 5 minutes that day, because that's always the reason it happens. But because you can't get that "fuck you I'm unique and non-comformist" feels off it because everyone is doing it, they now need to compensate with doing more of it and more often.
Tattoos have only ever been attached to trashy women. Their attractiveness wasn't relevant.
Well duh, if she is getting tattoos she already has all the prerequisite mental illnesses and low standards that usually create a trashy person.
And it used to be a clear sign she was "not like other girls," which often meant being easy to get wild sex from, would drink/smoke with you, and all sorts of other greener grass ideas that guys fantasized about back in the day.
Now that its become mainstream its both become blase, losing that taboo appeal, and we can openly see it means none of those things.
It was specifically ones who were already hot and put effort into their appearance. They'd've been hot no matter what color their hair or what clothes (if any) they wore.
