If you post shit publicly, you shouldn't be able to restrict who can reply.
This shit pisses me off, specially when governmental agencies do it.
I lost any confidence I had in Elon when he backed off from removing the "block" feature. Twitter blocking is not blocking, it's banning, and, yes, you should not be able to ban people from public posts.
For the record, Bluesky (built by the now-burned useful idiots fired from Twitter) describes the ability to disable comments as a "safety" feature. I think we take for granted just how few people recognize that word as a euphemism at this point.
The fact there is a distinction between blocking and muting is criminal. It should be solely the same thing.
Because I'm fine if you don't want to listen to certain responses. It's not fine to simply be able to prevent anyone from responding to you bullshit.
Need to have a button called Side Tweet where you can reply and comment as usual only thing is the OP can't read it, when they click it will give them a passive aggressive response that these comments are blocked to them for emotional protection purposes.
Our guys should be able to block leftists, leftists should have to endure unlimited slurs, death threats, and doxxing from our guys.
