I doubt it happened, I remember even when I was in high school kids would make up someone used “fighting words” (in this case nigger) which “justified” them fighting on school grounds. That was in a suburban school funded by a district trust too, I doubt it’s any less prevalent today, just like the video of the black teen walking up to the sitting white teen and saying “say something racist” before attacking him on camera, that came out last year I think?
