"Representation" is just how they sell white erasure to normies. The ones supporting this shit aren't fans either. They're just NPCs brainlessly regurgitating the narrative.

its not even "representation" or "diversity" when they just want to make everything majority black

That "diversity" just means "no Whites" is something that became obvious to me awhile ago. It's no wonder leftoids keep bitching about "dog whistles". It's just another example of leftists projecting, again.

The problem is their logic says that a majority blackwashed film/show is a form of "punching up" because of all the older media that wasn't blackwashed, but the problem there is that its hypocritical to market it as diverse, and when does the "punching up" stop where its now considered even?

Their rhetoric basically says they just want to exclude white people as much as possible, and all they have is pathetic attempts at gaslighting when you notice it and call it out.

Correct. Didn't see a lot of representation in Black Panther, other than white villains of course. If they truly wanted diversity, Wakanda would be at least partially filled with white normies walking around in that society.

Why is it always representation of minorities when they race swap and are incredibly smug about it. Of course you're doing it to piss off the people in the fandom you hate because you hate the fandom. We get it. We point that out and we're all horrible people who you aren't afraid to lose. It's a big circular argument in your mind where you just shout bigot and are suddenly right about everything.

Can't wait for this shit to be over. It's just a level of annoying immaturity akin to the I'm not touching you bullshit that some fuckers really should have grown out of in middle school.

It's like the Halo series where everyone in charge blatantly admit they never played the games or read the books or anything. Just a bunch of grifters wanting to launder their feminist fanfiction into a successful franchise and claim that's why it was successful.

If you're gonna do a race swap, go full Black Dynamite and lean into it, otherwise it's just annoying pandering NO ONE but NPCs like.

The represantion is retarded and gets in the plot. There's a very racist vampire who likes owning slaves, Anette is one of his ex-slaves, who escaped thanks to Loa or something.

Drolta is Erzbeth's right hand, I think she's suppossed to be egyptian but comes more as african/nubian. The problem is none of the mentioned characters comment on this. The racist vampire don't question Erzbeth, Anette doesn't call her out for working with slavers.

Olrox is wary of Erzbeth because he sees her as another colonizer and never questions Drolta either.

It can't even portray in-game racial issues right. It's all surface level shit for pandering's sake

That's what makes all of this so horrible.

Just like nowadays every piece of media displays the future as racially and culturally diverse, but always avoid the consequences of that result.

There are no race wars in the future of woke media, no culture wars, no religious wars; everyone lives in harmony unless there's some invisible line separating gangs like in the game Cyberpunk 2077.

The biggest issue -- like almost all issues spawned from woke ideologies -- is that there is zero honesty in the realities of that depiction.

Cyberpunk 2077 has racial gangs. The Tyger Claws and Voodoo Boys are both racial gangs based on their neighborhood.

The larger Cyberpunk RED universe has racial gangs, called hate gangs, of pretty much every race. They're rare because nations have so little power in that universe.

They have some, yes, but you'll note majority of the population in Cyberpunk 2077 are a hodge-podged of mixed races just living amongst one another.

The interesting thing about a game like GTA IV was that it was honest -- you could walk down the street and see a black thug harass and even beat up a white guy/lady for the smallest of infractions, maybe they bumped into him, maybe they said something he didn't like, or maybe he just wanted to rob them.

My broader point was that these environments are sterile of the consequences of mixing different cultures together; there are no Muslim bombings in the world of Cyberpunk 2077 even though Arabs seem to be extremely prevalent in Night City -- we're to believe they just get along well with the tranny cyborgs?

No riots depicted, nor any kind of cultural unrest from those who have opposing views. Everyone gets along harmoniously unless they are in a gang that specifically has an alt with a rival gang, entirely manufactured for story purposes.

Now some people might say, "Well, they were dealing with time constraints and tech limitations" and to that I say, then don't add it to the game. Virtue signaling some pseudo utopia of cultural mixing in a dystopian environment is both nonsensical and disingenuous.

GTA IV did it right -- there were gangs, and there were mixed cultures, but it was strained, and a lot of people did not get along. The world building was reflected in the NPC behaviour -- heck, even with tech limitations, Saints Row 2 managed to achieve this as well both in its story and in its game world with NPC behaviours.

Both games basically made it known that mixing cultures does not work in a large, crowded urban environment, lest it result in a lot of provoked and unprovoked violence.

But we all know that the reason that today's media does not delve into this aspect of cultural disparity is because it breaks the programming pushed by the ESG overlords.

Dude, the world of Cyberpunk has all of that, just not in Night City. Night City is isolated from the rest of the world's cultural phenomenons for the most part because most of the people living there lived through the nuke that went off at Arasaka tower. There are snippets of reports of Islamic terror in the game and there aren't a whole lot of outright middle easterners in the game to begin with.

Islamic terrorists aren't in Night City, and probably wouldn't even be effective there anyway. Not when the game is set barely 20 years after a pocket nuke went off downtown, destroyed most of the city, and the response was to scrape the radioactive rubble into the bay and hire a bunch of Nomads to rebuild.

Suicide bombings seem like pretty small potatoes when compared to what Araska and Millitech did to each other in the 4th corporate war. Hell, there might not even be any of the current Islamic terrorist groups we have today. Cyberpunk diverges from our timeline in the 80s, right around the time the Mujahideen formed to fight the soviets in Afghanistan.

Basically, Cyberpunk can get away with it because they set up their world to Basically eliminate nationality by having corps take over the world. Who cares about where you're from when your nation is run by Biotechnica or fuckin All Foods?

Nothing really to fear, Castlevania has been dead for about a decade now (I'd argue it died when Koji Igarashi left). Konami doesn't care to revive it outside of porting the old games and licensing the franchise to westerners so they can make shitty ESG quota filled fan fiction barely resembling the source material.

Also why do minorities need to be overrepresented in a world set in Europe based on European folklore during a time when Europe was more or less 100% white? I know the answer, but the entitlement of culture vultures when it comes to white culture is insufferable.

Bloodstained sequel is confirmed, they just have to get whatever kickstarter goal stuff finished first.

If you told the fans of the show it was a completely original IP and had no connection to anything, it wouldn't change anything about their fandom.

Boiling both down to "Castlevania fans" is intentionally simplistic to blur the line for these weak jokes, but its about as valid as calling Total War players Warhammer fans and making jokes about the tabletop rules.

Black people are the majority in the world as a whole.

Representation of minorities would be giving white people a voice - since whites are a global minority.

Modern day South Africa, too. Apparently chanting shit like "kill the Boer" is simply part of their culture, so Whites are supposed to just roll over and take it.

You thought we were going to talk about castlevania shit? Too bad, we are going to rant about rich people using the french revolution as a frame! Sike, we are going to talk about hwitey being evil using the haitian revolution as framing.

Yeah... Castlevania...

I mean you could write an original story about Haiti. All the voodoo could be interesting, but that would require effort. Someone once told me “you just don’t want to face the reality of slavery”. I just said I’m well aware of slavery in the western world. Why not do some story about non western slavery

They are the ones who don't want to face the reality of slavery. Historically mulattos were pro-slavery since they wanted to climb up social status and keep their privileges. Not to mention french colonies had a different caste system from America.

Slaves performed racial purges, ransacking and even raping women and killing children during their uprising but that's something you wouldn't know from this garbage show

I mean you could write an original story about Haiti

They know, they just don't have faith the public would want to watch an original IP about that, so they have to latch onto popular ones like leeches

My personal theory is that they don't want to learn about 'the reality of slavery' because, if they do, they start having to come face to face with the reality that slaves were alot better off in America than any other location.

Arab slave trade? Hello, castration. Central America? Worked to death. Haiti apparently turned into an absolute shithole after the Haiti revolution, despite being one of the richest islands in the Caribbean before hand...

America is the way it is now because they did this weird thing like... keeping families together, or importing women as well as men, allowing them to actually have families and independent side businesses, manumission, not working them to death, and a bunch of other things that are a little bit awkward to learn about when they want to paint a picture of abject horror and misery.

Granted, alot of this stuff is hard to learn about because it's so sparse online, likely on purpose. The last time I had to go researching on the matter, it was very thin on the ground. I'd love to find a reliable source on the death rate for slaves in Central America, for instance, but... meh. I'd have to muster up the energy, and debating people on this stuff is guaranteed to drag straight into the mud.

In the 90s this black liberal professor did a report that basically stated that America has the most opportunities for blacks and they are better off than blacks anywhere else in the world. He didn’t mean to come to that conclusion though.

I didn’t know about African slaves being sold by African rulers til I was a little older. A lot of my knowledge about the history of slavery across the world is from Sowell. A lot of these young people are surprised to learn that slavery has been practiced across the world

Of course not. Olrox was an homage to Nosferatu. The bara church knight is an OC and Edouard may as well be, but I think he is loosely based on a castlevania 64 character.

Also there's a black vampiress who wears go go boots, in the games she was an old witch, kinda like female Shaft

I know they added interracial lesbian vampires in one of the previous Netflix Castlevania shows, and made Alucard gay or some such; it's all standard fare stuff from Netflix.

If it's on Netflix, expect it to be lame and gay.

Wokes could make a game purely about robots vs some alien bugs, and still put some black women into it because "muh representation and diversity". And they would obviously be the heroes.

Oh wait. no they can't, they can't create anything, only steal and corrupt what was already created.
