So first they forced him to buy it, and now they are attacking him for doing what they forced him to do. Nice, damned if you do, damned if you don't.

It's almost as if these alphabet soup agencies are nothing more than ways for the government to harass you.

But, more importantly, it's almost like the left has entrenched itself in nearly every facet of "the government" now, and - as it doesn't have to worry about the media showcasing them abusing power - it's becoming less and less shy about using government to attack the left's political enemies.

I mean they prohibited him from hiring foreigners and then investigated him for not hiring foreigners. Anything is possible at this point.

Remember when they convicted Chauvin of both intentional and unintentional murder?

We could interpret this as Musk being genuine in some of his publicly stated intentions around freedom of expression. I'm not naïve, but The Party doesn't generally investigate its own (unless it needs a patsy).

Elon is similar to a Trump. He's not in the club but he's not necessarily our friend. He's just not their friend. That is all.

Yeah and I have to say he at least posts some fantastic spicy memes. We're probably all fucked in the coming generation but it does make me smile the richest man in the world posts the most peak autism 4chan memes for fun.

Of course.

Musk is "guilty" and will be punished, they just need to decide what he's legally guilty of first...

Biden admin likely didn't like how Elon visited the border.

It's amazing how dumb the Feds are. One should wait a while as to not make it look suspicious, but yeah, they probably were chomping hard at the bit over the border, more so than the Twitter Files.

Why bother? We know, and they know we know. They simply don’t care. Same deal with trying to prosecute Trump just in time for the 2024 election.

I don’t say this to be negative or as “a blackpill” or what have you. I just think it’s important to realize that that’s the point we’re at.

Champing.

Both are correct. Chomping leans towards American usage.

I'm on the west side of the Atlantic. I wasn't aware there were two ways of saying it.

There isn't, "champing" is the correct and only way it's meant to be said since it refers to horses that literally champ at the bit in their mouths when feeling restless.

Chomping is simply a similar action involving the jaw but doesn't infer impatience.

That would be under the assumption that they're scurrying around in the shadows.

This is, I suspect, meant as a message. It's not like the US civil service is hiding it's bias now, is it? They'll make a half-hearted denial to the press for the look of the thing, and then, the next day, a new announcement that they're targeting more Democrat rivals.

The three letter agencies are all about threats, extortion and intimidation these days.

The FBI didn't "leak" the document saying they were going to start classifying anyone that supported Trump as a terrorist. They gave it to Newsweek as voter intimidation.

Why should they care? Do you really think the media is going to make a big connection/deal out of it?

There is nearly nothing left to keep the left honest. Thus, they are starting to do whatever they want.

It's weird how many laws Elon decided to start breaking for no reason immediately after he bought Twitter.

I don’t think people understand the degree to which the legal profession and (by extent) the judiciary were targeted by leftists. There is an army of leftist activist lawyers and judges all looking for “creative” ways to maximally reinterpret and apply our countless laws to political and cultural enemies. Traditionally, legal battles were triggered by actual harm. But leftists view themselves and their protected pets as oppressed, so there is literally always justification for lawfare.

The unfortunate truth is that our legal and criminal justice systems operate on not a small number of (essentially) honor systems. If you have bad faith citizens operating along purely sectarian and/or political lines, there’s no end to the damage they can do. And when the number of such people reach a critical mass, there is great potential for sudden collapse.

Where in the constitution does it say the deep state can be used to punish enemies of the democrat party? (there was never a law passed that congress said we should investigate Elon Musk)

And why do republicans never disband/utilize it when they are in power?

▲ 12 ▼
– Tourgen 12 points 2 years ago +12 / -0

no one actually cares what the constitution says. power isn't derived from the constitution, but from fighting-age men, weapons, and the will to use violence.

your second question doesn't improve the joke. D & R are reps for the same elite donors. the same team. the same people. the same goals.

Answer: the left owns the media (traditional, and internet/social).

If the right tried to do what the left did when it was in power, it would be all over the news, and all over the internet. The masses would be made to be infuriated, and it would be a disaster for the right.

When the left does it, the media will either hide it, or play it down for them.

How are people still not getting it??? Our system cannot function so long as only one side is held accountable. The reason only one side has to fear being held accountable is because of the left's control of the narrative.

I can't fucking wait for the shoe to be on the other foot.

If they want to lawfare anyone who steps out of line into oblivion, so be it.

Let the IRS and the SEC crawl up the ass of every leftist who has ever said anything negative about someone on the right.

It's only fair.

This cannot happen, because if it did, the media would make sure the masses were informed about it, and told how bad it is.

The right doesn't get to play by the same rules.

End goal is to make him give up Starlink. Global Government can't have an independent network existing out of their control.
