Women commit suicide because they're insane. Men commit suicide because everyone hates them.
This is of course a vast oversimplification, but the idea that women kill themselves for "better reasons" than men is absolutely fucking laughable. Also, most male suicide does not involve violence toward others. Heck, it can't; it would be completely impossible given the crime/suicide stats.
I've never thought about it, but now I'm curious...male versus female suicide in relation to additional violence previously. Do more men or women harm themselves after harming others, proportionally? I wouldn't be surprised in either case. I can certainly see a case for violent male outbursts, but I can also see the case for female sneakier violence into suicide. There's plenty of stories of women doing shit like driving their family off cliffs and stuff.
A significant proportion of male suicides occurring after divorce are for the sole reason of because they can't see their kids. Going by the infanticide statistics, I would say this is projection of the highest order and to stay away from Reddit users- this one in particular.
And don't forget being forced into egregious levels of alimony payment. When the only feasible way out of it is death.
In terms of murder-suicide, I think men are more likely to target their romantic partner and women are more likely to target their children.

Well, it's abstract the way modern art is abstract.
Abstract in the way that they are fed bullshit that is presented as unassailable truth. Students have to twist their brains into some serious pretzels shapes to make any sense of it. Most students (especially with the lowering standards in higher ed) aren't capable of understanding the bullshit enough to realize it's bullshit, so they just repeat the lies as unquestionable truths.
So you get in a lecture hall of 200 people. The professor spouts bullshit that no one in the room is equipped to refute, and 150 of the students want to believe the bullshit. So if you're one of the other 50, and you speak up, you're washed away in a sea of vitriol. It's happened to me and it's happened to others.
It's people who hit that stage of mental development and are now approaching 40 without ever growing past it.

I swear though women always think about men's situation like this. I had a pretty rough mental time in late 2020-early 2021 and learned really quick don't bother even mentioning to women. No matter what, they always have it worse.
One thing I've learned over time, women really don't want men who are emotionally open. They say they do, but it's a lie. Most of them are vapid whores who can't think beyond tomorrow, or second order impacts, etc.
The ones who can are usually pretty good in my experience, but they're a minority.
When women complain, they don't want men to offer a solution. They want to be told their complaints are valid.
When men complain, women resent someone else getting the attention. At best, they begin with their own complaints, at worst they view the man as weak and look for another branch.

A large number of female suicides are women who mistakenly kill themselves because their original intention was just to get attention but they ended up going too far.

They pretend to kill themselves (suicide attempts) in order to get sympathy and attention.
Women who actually go through with it usually only do so after several attempts.
We are not the same.
