It's worse than you might think, many of those imgur users don't know the site was created to host things for Reddit. So when Reddit is brought up quite often imgur users treat it like some foreign entity.

I was tearing my hair out when all that derogatory information about Hillary Clinton and her email servers etc. got leaked and the press wanted to focus on the fact that they thought Russia was behind it.
If it's true, who cares? Sure, they have an ulterior motive in releasing the information but that doesn't change its truthfulness.

It should be required to be anonymous on the Internet.
I don't see anything there that states that anonymous images will be deleted or even anonymous uploading will be prohibited.
And if you still don't believe me, I suggest you try uploading content anonymously. I just tried it and it works.
I stopped using Imgur a long time ago. Nothing but leftist memes and any sort of moderate or right wing pics get removed. There is a reason why it's Reddit's default image hosting site.

You want to know what is even worse/funnier? I have seen some typical Redditoids say they are doing this to please to "Evangelical Religious Puritans" of the Right. You know, the ones who have had pretty mediocre power for decades now and only recently managed to claw a little back (alienating a massive chunk of the right in the process)?

Porn is an indulgence that is degenerate in all of its forms. Normalizing porn is part of the sexual liberation which aims to break down barriers until men, women, and kids are all having orgies together. The sexual liberation is one of the core pillars of wokeness.

No, porn is normal and has always existed (Cave art to murals to magazines to paheal). It's perfectly natural. Some porn can be bad though, but instead of blaming porn, we should be educating our youngsters better regarding reproductive and sexually recreational acts. Otherwise you get teenage moms and dead-beat dads.
Modern internet porn is so different from magazines and cave art that there is no comparison between the two. So in that sense, modern porn is not "normal" in any way. In fact it's probably a large part of the reason human relationships are so broken right now.

That's actually precisely what happened. All of this woke shit was contained on Tumblr and when it banned porn the seal broke and here we are. All corners of the Internet infected.
I like that they at least pretend to recognize the obvious pitfall such a rule can have in trying to saw "this isn't erotic, so its fine by our rules."

I once got linked to an Imgur album of a single character from Fire Emblem (Awakening, because what else) and it was over 200 images of her armpits being "erotic." Clearly we need to ban those as well because those people exist enough for that much fanart to exist.
And I need better friends.

Its ironic, because I think armpits are less gross* than feet on the scale but we just got used to them more because of how loud and everywhere they were.
*Especially for the Asians with their no body odor genes, where all these anime girls originate from.
Imgur started deleting my images subvertly without warning me from someone reporting them.
I kept reuploading the ones they deleted and one day my account was nuked without warning.
To give context, it was quotes by Patton and Bobby Fischer so I get it.
They were all private btw, no one on Imgur could see them. I shared the private links on places like this site and other comment sections and someone flagged them to imgur.
I'd notice single images missing, I'd reupload them and a few weeks later it would be gone again, realizing someone was monitoring my account. Then after 6 months of this, they got tired of trying to be sneaky and deleted all of it, including old personal pictures from almost a decade ago.
(I backed up everything in anticipation of this, the Bobby quotes only were added in the past 2 years when I became awake to all that stuff, I was a Reddit mod back in 2018, I didn't hope for any of this racist crap to be true).
There are a few people here who wouldn't want certain Bobby Fischer and Patton quotes circulating around.

This is why you should always be using other sites to host images. The most popular one being catbox but I would not expect that to last forever either. If you want something to last you would have to create some self hosted site instead.
