The TX woman, that is interesting. Someone getting an abortion does not commit a felony, it is a felony to perform the abortion. Thing is the woman did the abortion herself, so she is the one who did the abortion and can be charged.

A woman that's killed her own baby has turned her back on the most basic purpose and worth a woman has: to bear children. Parents are instinctually driven to protect their kids, and if a woman can kill one of them, they can no longer be trusted by anyone. At the very minimum, that requires expulsion from society.

Oh yada yada yada, it's like a contest of who can start a fight over the dumbest b.s.

If you really think abortion is evil then you should be happy evil people avoiding having and raising kids.

Abortion is evil is indoctrination but saying it's a clump of cells isn't? I wonder what you think about late term abortion, when the child can survive outside the mother and it is legal in many states.

Abortion has uses, if it endangers the mothers life for instance and I can understand it if it is from rape, although it is still the murder of an innocent so I do not condone it but I do feel sympathy for the mother. The problem is we moved from being a horrible thing that should happen in very rare circumstances to women getting pregnant and aborting children because they get likes on the internet. We moved from abortion in early stages to late stages, when it is physically a child and for reasons like money or depression or simply the mother changed her mind.

What I'm saying is do not assume the left is not indoctrinated. I was one of the people on the left, I was pro-abortion and said it was a clump of cells without even thinking, now I see it as a living entity that is innocent and in need of protection.

Did I say anything about a "clump of cells"? Stop pulling talking points from index cards and use your fucking brain for a moment. Abortions are rarely black/white simple scenarios waiting to be generalized into nothing and virtue signaled away. Pull your head out of your ass and see the world.

LITERALLY the most exaggerated and hysterical comment I have ever read. Seriously, the word literally has an actual meaning, it's not just there for emphasis. Look it up, you might be surprised you've misusing it your entire life. And while we're at it, if you realized you were mistaken about the English language, do you think you could also be wrong about this whole baby killing issue?

You've stated one of your talking points from an index card, a point I never challenged. You made up (out of thin air) an argument to defend because you are incapable of thinking critically or even having a genuine discussion. Attempting to reduce such a complex subject like abortion to this one-liner is laughable. Stop using words you don't understand boomer.

Logic is our pursuit of self betterment, the pursuit of truth. Without truth, we die. I agree that most modern propaganda is aimed at manipulating people's emotions, but that's why logic is so important. However, I also agree with you, even though you didn't say it (merely suggested it), that it's quite difficult to have a logical debate or discussion with someone that's based their argument on emotion. Ironically, I'm pretty sure you're aiming your argument at me, which if you knew me, is hilarious.

Stonecipher, who also advised the student newspaper, believes she was removed because she has been outspoken in advocating for LGBTQ children and encouraging journalism students to investigate the sticker removal. According to her personnel file, which Stonecipher shared with NBC News, the district’s human resources office believed that Stonecipher had called MacArthur’s principal “homophobic,” which Stonecipher denies, and that she made colleagues uncomfortable when she shared her opinion about LGBTQ issues. Last month, she was notified that the district plans to terminate her contract.

This is one of the teachers that was fired. Is not because she is gay but because she is a nut job that did not want to conform with the school having a policy of neutrality and was a pain in the ass. The school apparently did not allow political messaging inside the classroom and told the teachers to remove their rainbow flags.

There are basically 2 arguments from the Woke Left about what is and isn't politics.

  1. "This isn't political, it is just basic decency."

and

  1. "Everything is political."

The first argument is to get to people accept the Woke Left's politics as a normal thing that good people just accept, to make people think that only a "bad person" would question the Woke Left's politics.

The second argument is to get people to accept when the Woke Left injects their politics into non-political stuff, especially media. The Woke Left wants to subvert non-political media with their politics so their politics won't be seen as political but instead seen as "normal" & "good', thus feeding into the first argument.

Alabama passes SB184 which forcibly medically detransitions all trans teens

I'm calling bullshit. Anybody have any knowledge of the bill to confirm?

I'm guessing SB184 prevent transitions going ahead, but if you are the right kind of lunatic you would paint that as this

If detransitioning means stop giving kids puberty blockers, then yes. The bill makes it a Class A felony to do anything to a minor (18 or younger) that changes their sex, physically or mentally.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 10 ▼
– TakenusernameA 10 points 4 years ago +10 / -0

Technically changing your sex is impossible, so in reality this bill does nothing.

What is should do is correctly classify "Gender Reassignment" as Genital Mutilation and outlaw it for all ages.

▲ 7 ▼

Yeah, I can see a lot of lefties creatively redefining the terminology to capture as many kids as possible under "already transitioning" so they can still carve up as many children as possible.

Thanks for the link

Yeah, as with the Florida bill, there's no language there that most parents would object to - so lefties, it seems, are content to just lie about the contents of the bill. The thing's only 11 pages, as well, something I approve of - these aren't difficult concepts, so hundreds of pages of waffle for this would only be an attempt to exclude the populace at large from the law they are subjected to.

I'd think the bits that they're actually upset about are:

  • "to prohibit the performance of a medical procedure or the prescription of medication, upon or to a minor child, that is intended to alter the minor child's gender or delay puberty;" (Note - nothing here at all about forcible de-transitioning)
  • "The sex of a person is the biological state of being female or male, based on sex organs, chromosomes, and endogenous hormone profiles, and is genetically encoded into a person at the moment of conception, and it cannot be changed."
  • "numerous studies have shown that a substantial majority of children who experience discordance between their sex and identity will outgrow the discordance once they go through puberty and will eventually have an identity that aligns with their sex."
  • And perhaps the one they'd be most concerned about - "No nurse, counselor, teacher, principal, or other administrative official at a public or private school attended by a minor shall do either of the following: (1) Encourage or coerce a minor to withhold from the minor's parent or legal guardian the fact that the minor's perception of his or her gender or sex is inconsistent with the minor's sex; (2) Withhold from a minor's parent or legal guardian information related to a minor's perception that his or her gender or sex is inconsistent with his or her sex."

That last one, if enforced, would render the lives of dedicated groomers substantially more risky.

From the articles in the tweet, the gay one was not related to any law, the school decided they wanted to stay neutral so they would not allow things like pride or BLM stickers in the classroom, one teacher quit and another was fired. The one that got fired called the principle homophobic and looks to have been all in the face of the administration for doing this. So she was not fired for being a lesbian but because she was a disruptive activist. Of course she makes it seem like it endangers LGBTQ+ children because apparently a kid was bullied because the kid was non-binary, what ever that means, honestly making fun of someone who is non-binary seems sanity at this point.

I do not remember if the school is public or private but a private school can do what ever they want and a public school should not have any divisive political messaging since it should represent everyone.

For the Texas one, the woman did the abortion herself, from what I understand is not illegal to get an abortion but it is illegal to perform one. So she would have been fine if a doctor in another state did the procedure but she chose to do it herself. Even that is a bit unclear, from the article was not clear if there are grounds to take this to trial, however she was detained.

For the third, I can't get myself to feel sorry. Children getting manipulated in to being trans is a horrific thing, any pushback against it is good.
