I watched PBS, but only at my great grandma's house because she had cable. All we could get on the antenna at my house was Fox and UPN (and sometimes CBS on a good day). And my hometown was ~30,000 in population. (Southeast New Mexico though, not Iowa)

Oddly, my favorite was (and is) Hoyle Casino. Kid me learned Blackjack that way.

Crazy Taxi was great too, but I only ever had it on the PS2.

Call me crazy but I prefer fake krab anyway. Real crab is too much damn work for too little meat.

"Si say pwadway!" - "Doctor" Jill Biden, to a group of breakfast tacos (well, Hispanic people, who she referred to as breakfast tacos)

Not that I advocate for trannyism, but if he shaved his face he could pass. He's got the flowing locks and the smooth skin (which looks quite moist, hence the name?)

That's how Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (a GameCube remake of the original for the PlayStation from 1998) was done. They took the MGS2 engine, remade the assets (including re-recording all the dialogue, bc the original recordings were unusable in the higher-fidelity consoles of the GC/PS2 generation) and plopped those into it, and bam. MGS with high-poly graphics, first-person aim, all the modern conveniences.

Now if they'd just ported that to the PS2 (or 3-5)....

This game was so ahead of its time. As deep as it was it went way over my 8 year old head when it first came out but years later it feels so prophetic.

Is "speaking circuit" a euphemism for the cast of RuPaul's Drag Race?

What I don't get is that these people who are far superior to and smarter than me and want to control the flow of information can't even write grammatically correct English.

Agree on policies? Agree to policies?

They want to be the arbiters of truth and they can't even use prepositions. Hell, this dolt probably thinks "preposition" is what you put on hemorrhoids.

</rant> bc now I have a headache, damn it lol

Cue that saying about democracy being two wolves and a sheep voting about what to have for dinner.

On a similar note, the (kinda cherry flavored) White Powerade is my favorite. It's also getting harder to find these days. Was just Walmart where I noticed they didn't even sell it, now I can't find it at the local grocery store either.

Coincidence? Press X to doubt.

Not even when she shut down the whole damned state, but then had a "non-essential" jewelry store reopen just for her so she could go shopping.

Much of the world, no? The BBC in the UK, ABC in Australia, NPR and PBS here, etc.

Time to rid my life of that cancerous site, assuming they go through with this and also axe old.reddit.com. That + RES on desktop, and Apollo on mobile, are my only ways of interacting with it because I just say no to infinite scroll.

And I thought Paogate was going to be the end....
