Only know the story of adviceanimal.
Basically the current mods didn't want to go dark. Top mod came back after basically a year of being inactive and said "Hey, we go dark" and hit the button. One of the other mods petitioned to get top mod. He got it.
Basically the same thing that happened at the original KiA.
AI is not intelligent. The end.
It doesn't understand shit. It's trained by human reinforcement (RLHF) to give results that sound "good". That random humans will say "Hey, that sounds intelligent / makes sense".
I think by now everyone heard of the case of a guy being blamed for something criminal (money laundering?) by chatgpt. He never did this.
Same with image generation AI. If I tell it "generate me a human" it doesn't know what a human is. I have to add negative prompts like "too many fingers" to even get to basic ideas like "a human has 5 fingers". You can't even say "human with 5 fingers", because it doesn't understand what a "finger" is.
That also is all the reason why "AI" in art works great. If it fucks up something like generating a shitty image - you just go again. If your AI doesn't detect a child running on the street - you have a dead child.
Fun recent article about the topic in general: https://lcamtuf.substack.com/p/llms-are-better-than-you-think-at
If you want a fun experience that lasts for 2-3 weeks then yes. It's definitely good. Many of my friends like it. They will most likely stop playing the game though after 2 months.
If there is any long term stability to the game though remains to be seen. Too early to tell.
inviting girls up to a "Cosby Suite" for obvious Weinstein shit, and then spreading nudes of said girls around the company until one killed herself.
You're mixing thiings up. Cosby Suite was fangirls at Blizzcon and none of their nudes were spread. Suicide girl wasn't even Blizzard, but Activision (or King don't remember).
And I do believe the Cosby Suite stuff. Blizzard devs saw themselves as rockstars (see Metzen's behaviour at Blizzcons, though I don't think he was involved with the CS).
But it's the women's fault. "Hey girl, you seem nice. Want to join me and some other fellow devs in our suite for a more private party?" And when you show up it's only male devs and female fans. Everyone with half a brain knows what this is about. And the women agreed to everything.
Just like fangirls and bands/musicians.
Heck, reddit's front page right now has a megathread discussing how Lyft's official reddit account doxed a user (instant permaban)
A first name is not a dox. The fun thing about the story though is that the woman - when confronted with being called by her first name - is to post about it more on reddit. Almost as if she doesn't really care about it. Without her TIFU post most people would never have heard of Claire.
To quote someone else about this woman moment: "WHOA EVERYONE! DID YOU SEE THAT I GOT DOXXED IN ANOTHER THREAD?? YOU SHOULD CHECK IT OUT AND SEE THAT I GOT DOXXED!"
Honestly nothing, but that has more to do with me no longer buying games at release. My backlog is so large that I can easily wait 1-2 years to have the game get cheaper.
Rogue Trader is interesting me the most of this year's releases.
Not sure if they release this year, but Ostranauts and Gloomwood might be exceptions I'd buy as soon as they leave early access. Gloomwood is similiar to Thief (my favourite series of all time) and Ostranauts is from the devs of NEO Scavenger.
Yo, lemme break it down for ya. In AAVE, a transistor is like a "tech piece" or a "gizmo." It's a lil' device that deals with electrical signals and acts as a switch or amplifier. Picture it as a tiny electronic gate that controls the flow of electricity in a circuit. It's mad important in all sorts of electronic stuff, like radios, TVs, and computers. So, if somebody be like, "I gotta fix the transistor in my TV to watch my shows," they talkin' 'bout fixin' or replacin' a messed-up electronic part, ya feel me?
Lemme break it down further. When we say a transistor acts as a switch, we mean it can turn electrical currents on or off. It's like a light switch in your crib—you can flip it to either let the electricity flow through or cut it off completely. Transistors do the same thang, but with electrical signals instead of lights.
Now, 'bout amplifiers, they make things louder, ya know? Well, a transistor can do that too, but with electrical signals. It can take a weak signal and boost it up, makin' it louder and stronger. It's like when you turn up the volume on your speakers—it makes the sound more powerful and fills the room.
(thanks ChatGPT - which also was create by the black master race ;p)
They initially were. They do have some far right people in it who pushed the more normal once out. Like Gauland is a far right politician.
I would put the party in general as a right wing party. And the most right wing in Germany (except small shit no one cares about).
It's not everywhere. It's just that Germany is massively influenced by American media & ideology.
I mean we had BLM protests in the summer of love after St. Floyd's death. While you can certainly argue that Germany has issues with racism it's completely different than the American racism. Cause we don't have blacks. But the libtards & progressives don't see that and just copy American stuff.
As a counterexample: go east from Germany and you will find many countries that don't have this issue until you hit the Pacific. It's not everywhere.
The street sign was stolen a day later (German src)
I also want to mention that the guy was Danish, not German! He just got surgery in Germany.
Would be interesting to see the breakdown by field.
