I voted for jannies to lose their job (aka blackout indefinitely)
My favorite part of the whole thing is how those same power jannies that control all those subs took some of them down, but left up stuff like r/politics, r/whitepeoplewtitter, r/worldnews, etc.
All that virtue signaling, but the biggest propaganda clearinghouses were too important to go down, guise! In fact, the other subs being down have given more space for posts from those shitholes to bubble to the top. Isn't that wild?
Most users don't want a blackout. Some subs also just went "unmoderated" during the blackout, and users loved it.
Jannies learn that they're useless & unwanted fucks.
A lot of power mods are troons, they already know they're useless and unwanted.
The fact that they will experience a LIFETIME OF REJECTION makes them MORE dangerous.
Their desire to reproduce is now morphed into a desire to brainwash kids to join their cult.
it has nothing to do with users or a third party mobile app being better than reddit's dogshit mobile app.
it's that reddit is now requiring payment for the API, which greatly impacts the business model of the powermods. you mock the jannies, and some of them are keyboard warrior losers, but some of them are making shitloads of money on this.
if you want to dig, look up /r/banbanouts. the /r/banout2018 sub where they were organizing it was banned, and they moved to discord.
in 2016 when trump won, a political extremist group started a coordinated effort to take over reddit. the powermods control over 90% of the top 10k subs, and over 60% of the top 100k subs. they're very well funded with political activism groups like mediamatters. it's confirmed true as memos from these groups and discord chat logs leaked covering it.
these powermods use a very sophisticated censorship system to make it impossible for anything that's anti-leftist to propagate on the site. any subs which do engage in wrongspeak get false flagged and banned.
with the API changes, the powermods are claiming it's over a third party reddit mobile app, but it's because the censorship system used by the political powermods doesn't qualify under the moderation tool exemption, and suddenly it'd cost many millions every month to run.
now the powermods are throwing a tantrum, holding the site hostage from the business, with neither side wanting to admit what is actually going on. reddit doesn't want to admit that they are pwned by a small group of extremists, and the extremists don't want to expose who they are, what they're doing, how they're making millions, and how the whole thing will collapse if they are forced to pay reddit a monthly fee to control the narrative on the site.
If they’re serious, they would. What good is a strike where you say “but yeah we’ll be back in a few days no matter what happens…” I certainly don’t care about Redditors succeeding or failing here but just offering what should be obvious advice.
According to the Farms Reddit admins are staging a coup d'etat on large-modded subreddits and replacing the mods or removing mod permissions in a bid to force-open the subreddits. Maybe the great Jannycaust can begin.
The troons will come crawling back and beg reddit to be reinstated. It's all they have in their pathetic lives.
JANNOCIDE NOW
I still play FFXIV, and occasionally went on the FFXIV subreddit to check out very specific threads about weekly/daily things, since the optimal choices for those tasks aren't obvious the majority of the time. I stopped using reddit entirely apart from this, but the unavailability of the FFXIV subreddit does slightly annoy me because of that.
Granted, I have not the slightest doubt that that subreddit, like probably most of the other Gaming subreddits, is extremely likely to be moderated by nothing but the most megalomaniacal, narcissistic, faggiest of degenerate trannies. In other words, the very people most affected by the API changes. So I don't expect it to be back up anytime soon.
Considering all the discord servers that game has, the channels in those servers, and the people who moderate them, it is indeed those kinds of people. Worse yet that most of them probably aren't bothered by it at all because a lot of what people tend to go to the subreddit for comes from one of those many, many discord servers.
If the subreddit says closed and you want any of that weekly info (and don't want to deal with all the discord bullshit), I'd be happy to pass along whatever you need.
Fashion report and island workshop. Those were the only 2 weekly threads that interested me.

Cycle 4
Cycles 5-7
The entire week (Fortune-teller if you want the new version of crime time)
Fashion Report
I can edit/update this for Thursday/ Friday if the subreddit doesn't show up.~~How do they predict by the 4th cycle what the rest of the week will be like? Did people just find how the algorithm consistently works after observing the reactions to their inputs and choices during the first 3 days?
From my own testing, the reserves of certain products vary greatly based solely on what I myself choose to produce, so unless I followed their plan during the beginning of the week, then my own optimal solution won't be the same as theirs.
Last update for the week.
Cycles 5-7
Fashion Report
Thanks for this, but honestly, I don't mind Discord. Would you be willing to just PM me the discord links to join the channels that figure out the solutions please?
Sure thing.
Yeah, they've either figured out the algorithm used or created one close enough. By day 4 they have enough info to predict the rest of the week. It's complicated as you've noticed though; whatever you make is factored in to future days. I don't even pretend to understand how it all works. The people who figured it out just aim for whatever gets the most currency per week, which is what most people want.
Cycle 4
It's really highlighting how bad we fucked up by letting the last semi-decent tech support resource be completely subverted by communists.
My mma subreddit went private 😒
I was browsing as a non user before publicly and now they pull that shit.
Hack the planet.
