Apparently I didn't go back quite far enough then. CTRL+F imp got me a whole bunch of approved comments ~25 days ago, so I assumed that meant he was still good. Took a few more pages to find the ban. Apparently he was banned and THEN all his comments were approved. Kind of weird, but whatever.
I've managed to get into a nice place where my family (and just about anyone else who knows me) knows if they want to get me something, I accept food, and pretty much only food. It's 1000x better than random junk, and only lasts a week at most. It also goes in reverse; I tend to give gifts of homemade treats personalized to the receiver, so someone who hates sweets doesn't get sweet things.
I've received a lot of expensive junk over the years, but my favourite and most memorable gift is a sandwich.
Interesting. I don't really have anything to say about it in that case, except for maybe a distant "We're eventually going to be the majority here and I don't want my husband brutally oppressing me with this in the future".
The Bhaalspawn saga ended with Throne of Bhaal and no attempts to revive it 20 years later will change my mind.
While I wouldn't trust any modern developer to make it, I would accept a divine campaign for a third game centered around cementing your place in the pantheon.
One of my favourite parts of BG is when you stumbled into a quest, you actually felt like you stumbled into something. Whether you were exploring or just trying to go from A to B, it felt like an actual adventure. Not everywhere was important; some places were just there for the sake of being there.
We'd probably just be in (Current Year + 100).
