Hack writers think everything needs backstory and people won't understand or get it unless everything is explained to them in minute detail.

BlackRock is heavily tied up in real estate investments and with a coming real estate collapse they're going to need to be consolidating their money to ride out the storm.

I feel like with movies like wedding crashers and when harry met Sally the emphasis is more on the comedy than on the romance part and the main characters are the guys. Usually more absurdist or macho humor. So it appeals to guys more.

Whereas a more "chick" romcom has more emphasis on the romance than the comedy. Is usually more down to earth in its humor. Probably a good example is "you've got mail."

I was going to post this. Most gay erotica isn't read by men, but instead by women.

It is the topic of the week. Once the next topic comes up all the NPCs will switch over without a thought.

Wasn't this one of those things that was disproven? Like the meaning being picnic.

Seems about right. My friend dates a girl whose mother was an asylum seeker because she was targeted by the cartels.

A few months back he tells me he is flying down to South America to meet the mother. I was like "wait didn't she flee there because of the cartels? Why is she down there?" Apparently she moved back right after her kid graduated college claiming things "cleared up"

Wait. The article says she claims that she didn't bathe for 3 days to preserve evidence. But then immediately says she took a bath and vomited afterwards.

A judge can only overrule a guilty verdict in a jury trial. Not a not guilty verdict.

Yeah. That's the iffy part. It was over. Unless there is something the camera didn't catch.

Banks can and will shut down your account for any reason. You can have a bank refuse to do business with you because you share a name with someone they don't want to be associated with.

100% he would have still needed to listen to his editor and agent and the deadlines would have been hard deadlines.

Martin doesn't actually care about his series. He likes the idea of his series and that it being an HBO show means he doesn't actually have to write because he hates writing. Before he was world famous he was a competent writer because he needed to produce. Now he doesn't need to produce and he has no desire to finish anything.

Terrible. Halfway decent story but everything else was bad. Constant reuse of locations for missions. Like you'll go to one warehouse for a mission. Kill everyone, "liberate it", and then the very next mission will send you right back to the same exact warehouse. It was bullshit open world.
