There is overwhelmingly scientific proof that covid vaccination saves lives.
Where is it? Because first it was "you can't get covid and you can't spread covid if you're vaccinated". When it became obvious to everyone that wasn't true the narrative shifted to "the vaccine prevents serious illness and hospitalization".
NOw there's plenty of vaccinated people who get hospitalized with covid, pretty much proportional to their share of the population, almost as if the vaccine did nothing at all- except give negative side effects to a bunch of people.
The only way to prove a claim that you don't get as sick if you're vaccinated would be a large-scale study where they deliberately infected groups of vaccinated people and unvaccinated people with covid and then compared the outcomes. Do you have documentation of such a study?
Shame to see CATO fall so far. I remember reading a study from them that cataloged hundreds of egregious use-of-force violations by police and proposing reforms back in the early 2000's.
The case that sticks with me is one of the cops causing 2nd/3rd degree burns with a flashbang they threw into an infant's crib when they raided the wrong address and then no one got disciplined and the cops fought in court to not pay for the medical care and damages.
That CATO report made me extremely distrusting of cops long before it became fashionable.
he was a multiple felon, who cares that he died?
That was my argument when all this went down. Eric Garner was a much more sympathetic person who died in a similar manner and didn't merit mass riots.
I said from day one that BLM and all the shit associated with Floyd only got traction because there was an army of unemployed stir crazy people due to the COVID lockdowns.
If I were them, I'd avoid this story. I've read many a 'journalistic' article that seemed like a head-trauma patient wrote it. They'll fail whatever test they propose.
So, what you're saying is that, in addition to writing term papers, this software could be used to replace "journalists"? That sounds slike an improvement!
Women like to take any question as either praise or a personal attack.
FIFY. The last girl I dated would snarl at me if I so much as asked her what she was doing.
Hilarity ensued when half the time I knew exactly what she was doing and that she was doing it wrong. I was just giving her a face-saving way to get help.
I enjoyed all 5 seasons. Season 1 was the best; it was fresh and paid homage to the original movies without being complete fan service.
As the seasons went on, the novelty wore off and it became less about Johnny and Daniel and more about the kids. The quality isn't as high anymore and the storyline has become pretty farfetched, but I've enjoyed seeing all the characters from the movies find their way back; some as cameos and some becoming major parts of the story.
Would the world be a lesser place if it has ended with season 1? No, but it's not a worse place for having seasons 2-5 either, if you catch my drift.
The left: "Women are equal"
Also the left: "women are uniquely victims"
So, which is it?
The responses are so childish and petty as well, boiling down to pretty much "He can afford it so he should have to provide this for free."
Typical leftist mentality of taking away other people's assets because they feel they don't deserve them.
"SpaceX's request that the US military foot the bill has rankled top brass at the Pentagon, with one senior defense official telling CNN that SpaceX has 'the gall to look like heroes' while having others pay so much and now presenting them with a bill for tens of millions per month," CNN wrote.
Oh, I'm sorry, I missed where it was announced that Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Thales, Boeing McDonnell Douglas, Northrop Grumman, et al. announced that they were providing their military technologies to Ukraine for free.
What's that? They didn't; a large part the billions in aid approved for Ukraine is actually going to buy gear from these companies, and the government met with their executives to ask how it could help them to sell more weapons? Color me surprised.
Seems the height of hypocrisy for the Pentagon to ask that a civilian company donate its services for free while assisting military contractors to make billions.
Because french fries are a real thing that you can buy and eat. If the cost goes up, it hurts.
The Jan. 6th committee is a ridiculous show trial that has wasted tens of thousands of dollars, uncovered no compelling evidence of a vast "right wing" conspiracy, and will convince no one to change their mind about the events of that day or who won the election. It's the definition of the Democratic party's spite and hatred for Trump.
I don't give a shit if you want to drink, smoke, get high, whatever. But I've found that pot smokers are the most insufferable, because they focus so much on it- like it's some defining personality trait or something.
More likely, the non-whites rise to management and then hire more of their countrymen. I know a guy that worked at Microsoft and that's what happened with the Indians they imported on visas to save on wages. Whites are the only ethnic group that don't unabashedly advance the interests of others that share their ethnicity.
I went back to visit that friend a couple of years ago, and the crowd in the mall we went to in Bellevue was all Indians and Chinese. Maybe one out of five people was white.
Are there ironic handshake bots?
Meta employees added their accounts and others linked to OnlyFans competitors to databases used by companies internationally to identify malware and accounts linked to terrorism
Couldn't care less about Facefuck employees taking bribes, but I want to know more about this database. Is this information shared with governments?
Found the use case for a semi-auto mag fed shotgun.
You don't think this is comedy genius?: https://youtu.be/YtPejSMy66k
This.
It is well documented that actual purchasing power has been declining since the 1970's. Inflation hides it because salaries keep rising, but the middle class has taken a huge pay cut because their money doesn't go as far.
At the same time, I see armies of brand new RVs towing trailers with ATVs every summer, and I wonder how the hell people are affording those. I'm pretty well off and I wouldn't even consider such extravagance. Either I'm just seeing the most well-off people on the highway or their in debt to the gills buying all that crap on credit.
Who cares? There isn't a single populated place on the planet that didn't belong to some other tribe, kingdom, or ethnic group at one time or another.
EDIT: And the holiday today is Columbus Day, because that's what it's called in the law. This attempt to change today into "Indigenous Peoples Day" is bullshit semantics unless and until they change it in the law. https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/pay-leave/federal-holidays/#url=2022
Sleep is Raciss!
She may not be the first, but she'll almost assuredly be the portliest.
So, is Deathcon is a horror convention I haven't heard of?
Oh, you meant DEFCON? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/DEFCON
So many of those Reddit posters are virtue signaling twerps.
"You're a racist if you draw any conclusions from the plethora of similar videos floating around out there. Pay no attention to the fact that a certain demographic is disproportionately represented in them."
"Once you've had that sort of Ecclesiastes moment of thinking everything is futile and pointless, how do you get people believing that hard work pays off again?" she said.
Make hard work pay off? Which is the last thing they intend to do. I've watched most of the best and brightest at my job burn out and leave bitter and angry. Management is actively advancing women/minorities of mediocre ability at their expense, and there's no better way to make someone stop caring about anything other than collecting a check than shitting on the most deserving.
Yeah, Russia is not Iraq or Syria. It's a nuclear power. It's just not within the realm of possibility that Russia would "back down" if the US or Western European power were to launch a military strike against it. That's simply not how great powers ever have or ever will work. It would demand retaliation. An attack on a nation's nuclear deterrent would almost certainly prompt a nuclear strike in response.
Well, that's an accurate name. I get it, they don't want to invest money and not get anything out of it but that's just the risk they take.
How many people have moved or turned down job offers to take a position only to be laid off a year later? Nobody is proposing that the company that laid them off pay a penalty due to the lost opportunity or moving expenses that ended up being wasted.
