Who cares? There isn't a single populated place on the planet that didn't belong to some other tribe, kingdom, or ethnic group at one time or another.

EDIT: And the holiday today is Columbus Day, because that's what it's called in the law. This attempt to change today into "Indigenous Peoples Day" is bullshit semantics unless and until they change it in the law. https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/pay-leave/federal-holidays/#url=2022
