The irony that is Rorsarch being a rorsarch for understanding that concept is a pretty epic mealtime win in my book.

In my version I wrote him as the last synthesis of wyld and weaver. True balance of natural and innovative creation processes.

There was a similar character for Vampire and Mage, "the true X" and they formed a new triat of sorts at the end of the world.

I liked my ending better because it wasn't dripping in leftist propaganda

A bugs life and zootopia are stealth subversion classics.

First supposed to be about socialist revolution the other about racial harmony.

And instead we got Atlas Shrugged with bugs and the JQ with animals.

Amazing.

Dota 2 as always since 2013

But I've been playing Oxygen Not Included again and Stellaris for the first time.

I started a Shining Force playthrough last week as well, and it's amazing how much easier the games I played as a kid are now that i can read.

Oh and I got my son playing Battlefront Ii (the real one) so that as well.

Idk man, I feel like the tranny/metis metaphor is a bit on the nose.

There is absolutely a difference between a born true believer and a "kept" one.

It's Plato's cave again. Some when taken out will be enlightened, others cannot be enlightened by any human means.

They will always cling to the lie.

Those who DO see take to the truth like taking a first breath. That experience can't be replicated, it just happens.

Wtf is the "morale" tab. Is it an overwatch specific thing or are they sorting heroes by how pissd your team is at you playing them

Because the profit motive is a lie. Most people are not rational actors and do not pursue profit to the expense of all else.

That's two strikes against. Add that most people are also stupid and that means that even th3 ones who are profit motivated won't actually do things that create profit.

The profit motive exists at the top. But at that point the rules of profit aren't the rules of products and people. They're the rules of politically avoiding decapitation.

I liked Knight fine, it was like Revalations is to Brotherhood.

The first was brilliant, the second didn't mess with the core formula too much, but it was a bit dusty, and the new stuff wasn't as cool.

The story is obviously less magical. But it still has some great moments and the Joker bits are very enjoyable. Even the playable cutscenes are workable, they're there with purpose and produce feelings and investment rather than being a slogfest to pad the playtime out.

It may also be hindsight bias, but I found the batmoble portions to be mercifully shorter. Though still hateful to the gods and all people of discernment.

Tl;Dr Arkham city makes you feel like you're batman. Markham City makes you feel like you're reading a pretty good TPB of batman.

So you've been taken in by thr subversion.

The left takes power words, slurs, and indefensible groups and uses them for what they want to target whether the usage makes sense or not.

So nerdy programmers are dudebros and always were, to trigger connotations of insular, sex pest, frat boys when they describe the culture of game companies.

Because words are incantation rather Tyan description.

You're borderline illiterate at this point. The "you" matches your hypothetical. It's called Subject verb agreement.

Even if I did mean "you personally" your response wouldn't be relevant, because again, I'm not arguing that they would or would not be encouraged.

I'm saying I don't care.

Again.

God you're stupid.

I love that your counterargument to "I don't fucking care if you can't make a living as an author" is to explain why you can't make a living as an author, and to fail at it anyway.

So I'll repeat.

I don't fucking care. Laws written "so that creative people can get paid for writing books" aren't legitimate legal theory.

I love this part: "but it is also true that I am not obligated to perform labor no one pays for—and that, in many cases, even if I want to, I cannot afford to." So fucking don't you retard.

Theacefospades 1 point ago +2 / -1

Wow what a fucking stupid response.

The only theory of Property that allows something like IP to exist is one based on labor value. It doesn't "reach the same problem as communism" intellectual property IS communist legal theory. "My effort and labor should be rewarded" fuck off.

Property isn't about getting people to work. So frankly I don't give a single fucking shit if people "cant make a living" off using men with guns to force you to pretend you don't know something.

For Property to exist it must have Scarcity and Exclusivity. Intellectual property has neither.

Intellectual Property is about the stupidest legal doctrine after central banking.

You cannot own information, thus it cannot be stolen. You can only attempt to control access on an agreement basis. But that basis has nothing to do with legality. And shouldn't because that's retarded

I wish I could stretch my mind out into a timeline video that showed each moment I thought my hatred had peaked.

I still remember the first day..

"With his sister. Calling for peace"

It's incredible how they manage to dig ever deeper.

You are the most identifiable poster on site and I absolutely mean that as an insult.

Justification is the important part.

For some retarded reason people think WHY you do something is divorced from morality all of a sudden.

Doing something harmful because you think somebody is subhuman is wrong.

Doing something harmful to protect innocents is good.

Cutting in line in front of a white person because muh slabery is more morally objectionable than blowing up 100 enemy soldiers.

Are there people who actually like civil war? I thought it was pretty universally hated, not to mention the worst Avengers movie.

I can't say there's anything by Millar that I like personally.

Theacefospades 1 point ago +2 / -1

As an overall.misanthrope I find both groups tiresome to the point of hatred.

But one pretending it's worthless time wasting is somehow morally and socially superior to the other groups worthless time wasting pisses me off even more.

I have zero problem with garbage people as long as they acknowledge what they are.

That's the crux isn't it? Social pressure to conform" is so abstract a thing to criticize.

It's like when retards criticize "violence" or "censorship" while conveniently dropping the "unnecessary" or "unreasonable" qualifiers.

She's using social pressure to try and influence her conformity over somebody elses.

Rules for thee but not for me is pithy and spot on, but it doesn't go far enough. This isn't just a "it's fine when I do it" it's even deeper than "No bad tactics only bad targets"

It goes beyond those to a moral paradigm based on Dominance and humiliation, being Dominant is the only moral rule, and therefore, your enemies bare existence as NOT YOU defines them as non-human.

It's the Jewish worldview of total ownership amplified by replacing a holy book with introspective hedonic soliphism.

It'd shifted fully now too on the EU. I read an article a couple days ago where the premise was unapologetic "I'm a star wars fan who never liked any of the EU because it sucked so I'm glad Disney swept out the debris and started really CREATING"
