[–]haralambus98 8948 points 20 hours ago Sorry but this is ridiculous. Why set yourself up to constantly lie to your kids? One will think he is much more advanced and the other more behind than the other and end up resenting eachother and you. Don’t underestimate the importance of honesty has on child development and security. And another thing…. No one else will keep this lie up. Family and friends will point out the inaccuracy and cause further resentment.

[–]SupremeSmile [S] 21 points 11 hours ago Brought up this point with her. Her entire family’s on her side, this is what they’ve all been praying for apparently. I don’t know what to do.

:')

As always, everything on Reddit is fake, until proven otherwise.

Stories on reddit are the same as the ones in advice columns. They're made up, but it might still be fun.

None of this is true, you made it up.

The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact.

I always say "I just made this shit up." I'm not lying to you on purpose, but half this shit is dry sarcasm so go look it up.

Either I pointed you to something you might want to learn yourself -- or, whatever, art that you want to watch -- or I didn't. There isn't some greater purpose to this posting than entertainment and general knowledge-seeking and trolling.

I have two boys roughly a year apart.

They are still miles apart when it comes to ability, and development. And they are late teens.

A year is a lot when you're talking about children. This woman is insane, and wants to play "make believe" using her children as props.

This guy chose very poorly, and needs to put the crazy cunt in her place immediately.

You would think they would notice when one of them is walking and the other one is like sleeping 16 hours a day.

God you got that right. It's like a series of switches in their brains gets flipped one at a time making them more and more sapient and the changes can be staggering.

If they are exactly one year apart or less they can be referred to as Irish Twins. It's not a common term because babies aren't usually born that close together. It's mostly a conversation piece.

My wife has an Irish twin. They shared a crib together and fought over the same boys.

That's a pretty common term.

In certain communities, it is routine for those babies to be born. Like, I guess, the Irish.

Twins aren't special these days because of IVF practices. In Europe, they limit you to one implanted embryo, and the government tells you how many times you can try. In the US it's all for-profit, so they implant as many as they can and then selectively abort if there's too many "successes." It's all pretty gross.

The insane coincidence of having the same birth day and the constant "prayer" injections makes this whole thing sound like a psi op to make religious people sound crazy. Well.. crazier. This sounds kinda fake and gay. Though it does sound like a funny jape on paper.
