I've already seen some fake screencaps floating around social media. It's a tried and true tactic for liars to flood media with disinformation in response to the release of genuinely damaging information.
And it's only a matter of time before a "Epstein document generator" makes its way to an online meme portal to the delight of trolls.
All this time I thought the name of the game was D&D Dating Simulator.
I enjoyed Canadian Idiot by Weird Al more.
I have a hunch that open source AI tools will either go the "embrace, extend, extinguish" route or the "ignored, mocked, attacked, censored for national security" route.
People love the "go forth" part...but most people don't like the "and sin no more" part.
On reason I like Path of Exile is that it offers something to both players who like to be methodical theorycrafters, and to players like me who just want to hit the ground hacking-and-slashing using one of their build guides.
It wouldn't surprise me if there were a hidden basement room with little kids in it.
As a US citizen I am part owner of that building. My tax dollars maintain it. I vote for who does business in its halls.
So it pisses me off that sons of Satan literally fuck around in it and get away with it while I would get removed as a trespasser if I don't follow the velvet ropes or if I even look at a guard funny...or worse yet get thrown in a gulag after an officer waves me in during a fake "insurrection."
'gamer's are dead'
That's right up there with "Nobody plays TF2 anymore." Speaking of which, I plan to play some over Christmas break.
I've seen girls ruin social gaming venues twice. The first was at a LAN party when a regular attendee decided to bring his girlfriend. She was repulsive, rude, controlling, and so disgusting that she would burp as loud as she could and then say "Tee-hee 'scuse me!" The guy sitting next to me looked like he was ready to kill her after she did it twice. She was never invited back.
The second time was on a small Discord server with a couple acquaintances. The room was mostly memes, inside jokes and gaming chat; but overall people mostly idled. Then two girls were invited to the server; both of whom have what I assume are selfies for their avatars. Those two girls make up 60% of all new messages, most of which are about themselves. You cannot post anything without at least one of them replying. Any time people connect to voice chat, you can count on them showing up and doing most of the talking. And it's not about gaming.
That was the hardest NPC BSOD I've seen in a while.
Terrible internet headline. It should have read "John Oliver ABSOLUTELY DESTROYS Elon Musk IN JUST 30 SECONDS!!!" to get those sweet sweet clicks; and the thumbnail should have included a random young man with their eyes bulging from their sockets to get a few more.
It's also important to get to know your neighbors well. If they live responsibly and think like you, they will be a vital asset. If they sport purple hair and they're telecommuting for work in California while flying a pride flag out front, make sure your dogs scare them.
And make time to go to town hall and PTA meetings...make it clear to everyone emigrating from the cities to rural America that their bullshit is not going to be tolerated, so if they want to stay they'd better learn English, throw away their Satanic literature and put their work boots on.
younger generations are less religiously Christian
Things has gotten so bad that many churches in the country teach a feel-good "God loves you so you can sin all you want and he'll forgive you for it. You're a special snowflake!" message that will lead people straight to Hell. When Jesus said "Go and sin no more," He didn't stutter.
"What would you say was your life's greatest accomplishment?"
"I complained about things in many different countries!"
I don't think it has ever been sacred in my lifetime...but at least I was born early enough to be able to freely walk on PUBLIC property (as in, belonging to the American taxpayer) without getting thrown into a gulag.
This is what happens when generations of Americans don't call out evil when they see it and fight back.
If this happened in revolutionary times, at a bare minimum their homes would have been burned and they'd be fleeing for their lives. A good warning for anyone else who would have dared try something like that.
You're conscripting me into your army? Okay, then I'll see you at the firing range...but you know how accidents can happen there...
I'm already concerned that if I visited California for even one day, I'd somehow be stuck with paying California taxes from another state for the rest of my life.
The local Austin news has been all over this story since well before the ruling. The media is making this whole thing out to be like some epic where if the unborn baby doesn't get aborted then it will grow up to be some sort of planet-destroying monster.
It's incredible the lengths this woman will go to have her abortion while so many people cheer her on.
If I had money to burn by the truckload, I would offer to pay all the legal fees for someone who steps up. Even if we'd lose a lawsuit we'd still raise awareness and make the university have to pay legal fees too; and I'd appeal all the way to the Supreme Court. And if they rule against us, it would send shockwaves through those paying any attention.
I noticed this very thing while watching a video of a "biology student" grilling Dr. Frank Turek over gender identity during a presentation.
She spent five minutes trying to get him with a parade of "gotcha questions" while he calmly answered each with a logical, rational response. She was clearly not interested in learning anything, and I'm surprised she didn't break down and just accuse him of bigotry like I've seen women do in other videos.
No it has to be Austin. A few years ago I saw a large Mexican flag (at least eight feet high) flying at an intersection near the interstate across from a gas station with a big Mexican open air produce market in the parking lot.
The flag is no longer there but it still looks like I'm driving through another country every time I'm in that part of town. And I wouldn't want to be there at night.
Someone close to me in their early senior years had nearly the most sedentary lifestyle possible, and then he had a stroke. He came out of it surprisingly alright, yet continued his sedentary lifestyle. Then he had another stroke...and it practically aged him by another 40 years both physically and mentally, and made it impossible for him to live alone anymore. And his family shares in the consequences because they have to care for him now...merely thinking about that fact pisses me off sometimes.
I already had an affinity to nature hikes, long walks, workouts and Nintendo Switch fitness games...but every time I think of him I motivate myself to get out and about and even enjoy myself along the way.
I sometimes watch the old Perry Mason while eating dinner for two reasons: I want to sample shows from before my time, and because I'd rather watch it than almost any current programming.
