An adventurer-archaeologist who'd lost a finger or two to frostbite would be one thing, but once you're losing both legs below the knee you should be retired or dead. Those runner's prosthetics are going to make her slip and fall to her death.

That would be a swing towards sanity. These procedures are problematic because a doctor is supposed to have a system of ethics that would prevent them from harming their patient to satisfy a madman's fantasies. It's up there with abortion, trans surgeries and non-reconstructive plastic surgery as things that should be impossible simply because no doctor worthy of the title is willing to be complicit in the act.

Yes, idiots on this site kept on making this same stupid argument. Poxes are not strictly STDs - sex will naturally include the close physical contact required to spread poxes, but not all close physical contact is sex. Dogs and small children not recognising that they should shun the diseased degenerate in their household does not mean they're being sexually abused.

Here's a good rule of thumb: if the "Demographics of Burkina Faso" Wikipedia page has a section for slavery, don't let them in.

Take a crosswalk where idiots do burnouts at night all the time, paint it funny colours

Take a crosswalk and cover it in slippery plastic paint and skidmarks are inevitable.

I've heard this claim many times, always from leftists and never from the people who supposedly believe it.

This is also, not surprisingly, why they fear populists so much. On both sides. Populists aren't going to defend Israel.

You say that like populists don't love vengeance. Giving Israel carte blanche to kill our enemies for us while we watch with a tub of popcorn sounds like a great time.

It's a retarded thing to say. Losing doesn't make you a victim unless you're a Marxist.

I think he is a scapegoat despite disagreeing that his sentence is too harsh. If he's getting an appropriate sentence despite being the Democrats' biggest donor, it's because they're afraid to give him a sweetheart deal with the election coming up.

The Nazi collaborator George Soros working to destroy the countries that destroyed Nazi Germany is a more viscerally compelling argument anyway.

In a sense they are correct, but a cuck's confidence is like a man who thinks he won't be the one to become a heroin addict. Thinking your stupid decisions won't blow up in your face is confidence, but it's not a virtue.

I never read the book because it sounded like a misguided concept. If I like Star Wars I'll watch a Star Wars movie, but that doesn't mean I want to watch a movie about some guy because he also likes Star Wars.

The other thing I remember was a clip from the movie in which a character uses a "holy hand grenade" that didn't use the Worms sound effect, which to me would be the reason to use a holy hand grenade in your 'memberberry movie.

The first one I heard of was Shiloh, Jolie's kid. I remember reading that Jolie expressed racist disgust at the first sight of her own child, and thinking that Shiloh pretending she was something she's not was her trying to be something her mother would love.

I have no idea what the WA police got up to (which is probably a good sign), but we shouldn't tar them for Australia's California's crimes.

Yep, it's a completely benign etymology. The sun rises in the east, so the east of the Eurasian land mass is the Orient.

Anyone who watched Louis Rossman's videos when he was still in New York knows the real crime was being a Republican. Even if Trump overvalued his New York real estate, so does literally everyone else.

I remember people complaining about basic features being cut out of the core Sims 4 game, presumably to be sold back to you as DLC. So I'd be inclined to say no to spite EA and their shitty practices.

I'd start by showing them that William Campbell and Satoshi Ōmura won the Nobel Prize for Medicine, then show how they've been slandered in the media ("horse paste").

Israel bombing ISIS until they cry uncle is not evidence that Israel and ISIS are in cahoots. That's just stupid.

Ukraine turned his civilian communications network into a military target. They deserve to be cut off for that.

Right. Even netrunner types might physically jack into an internet connection to do their thing. The Internet of Things where everything and anything has a wifi connection was much later - the first (economically unsuccessful) smart refrigerator was only in 2000, for example.

An armed foreigner who enters the country without permission is an invader. They should be shot on sight, and this judge should be executed for treason.

If your little brother doesn't respect you enough to try not to get you banned, why are you sharing your game with him?

Gazans are no different than the black communities that turn cities - concentrated populations of potential customers - into food deserts. If you demand food, but you also try to murder the truck drivers delivering you food, you don't get food.
