Sure. In the short term it will raise prices and hurt American consumers. In the long term? lol

Basically your worst fear here is that the companies we're trying to force back will play hardball, but Trump isn't someone you can mess with easily since he's a big time business man and understands the game, so I'm not worried. It might hurt your wallet at first but not only will your wages go up as jobs come back to us, but prices will be forced down as competition rises.

Not really. They were originally supposed to be more of a "character" than the person behind them, though obviously there were a few times when companies were dumb enough to think that was the ONLY thing that mattered like with Kizuna or the Game Club Project. It's mostly just western bandwagoners that don't get it that I've seen that use that "streamer with an avatar" card before, especially those VAs you mentioned. I specifically remember Amalee for instance making fun of Vtubers and the people who watched them right before they blew up in the west, then she magically changed her opinion on them and said she was always a fan. Even then she still just does it ironically though.

Seems like a failure in gatekeeping.

Can't help but feel all of this is kind of missing the entire concept of what a Vtuber actually is in the first place... Especially the dooby thing.

Oh god. I fucking hate streamers so much, they're everything wrong with "content creation" (I hate that term) these days. She's doing one of those "subathon" things where streamers just beg for subs to keep the stream going, even sleeping on stream for money. She does one literally every year.

I remember people used to put actual effort into their stuff, make actual entertaining videos and ideas, not sleep on stream and play react content VODs instead.

Apex Legends. It's not really supposed to be Aerith but a costume for one of their characters you can buy. I don't know why, but I think the juxtaposition of Aerith and this one (Horizon) is what somehow woke people up to how insanely ugly she is.

Never though I'd say this, but America should could learn a thing or two from Uganda.

I fucking hate those people. They go squat in someone else's country, generally are completely obnoxious while they do it, and complain about the place they're supposed to be a GUEST in. Not only that, but their complaints are almost always political complaints, never just a simple cultural thing, but stuff they want forced through with "voting" as they act high and mighty like they know how to run the country better than it's actual citizens. All the while they go to parades like this to try to give the appearance it's a popular stance but if you look at the crowd it's just a bunch of liberal white jobless squatters, whatever actual Japanese friends they've managed to dupe into supporting it with them, and "Japanese" born outside of the country (second generation immigrants) and we all know how THEY are. All the fuckers know each other too, they're a cancer. Generally just shill vlogs on youtube about a maid cafe they went to while bitching about women's rights in Japan or some shit. Never learn Japanese either, the dumb fucks.

Their friends will get a bailout behind the scenes, and if anyone points it out loudly enough they'll get dogpiled by the globohomo media until they shut up. Anyone who isn't willing to play ball with them won't get shit. They'll allow this to be bad enough and have the news amplify it to the point people are shaken and don't trust banks nearly as much anymore, but then they'll graciously push their fedcoins even harder so they have an even tighter grip on your money and start to push for removing banks and other forms of currency to reduce your options and herd you into their bullshit GovCoin. The whole fuckin' thing's planned.

Actually the funniest part is there's one character called Loba who's actually hot, the guy who wanted to make her had noticed "an erasure of sexuality" with the other characters but had to crawl around to all the women in the company to get their "permission" to make her. I can't remember all the details, but it's an interesting read if you can find the full story.

Ever since the Geneva Conventions there's been a steady creeping thought in peoples minds that's only gotten bigger over the years that war can be this nice, civilized thing where we all just agree that certain people will die and others won't and we'll be nice and polite in wars, no need to actually try to win. Like some kind of card game. The UN and NATO like it because it lets them decide all over the world who wins and who loses, so if someone doesn't like them and won't play along with their global ambitions, CLEARLY they're committing meanie, dastardly war crimes (while conveniently ignoring their own) and have to be punished by the collective power of the world, and at the same time get another piece on the board in the form of another puppet government. Look at what they did to Hussein and his country and what's occurred as a result, but don't worry, that was all above board.

Unions had a use early on, but that's no longer the case. Now if a unions pops up, even if the employer straitens up and doesn't abuse their employees at all, pays them fair, etc. that union will still exist, except it will start to get scared. Unions need abusive business to exist, if they fix the business they're meant to fix, people start to leave after a while because they don't need them, and new employees will not join because they don't see the point. If people leave either the union or the job (and new employees refuse to unionize), they don't pay their dues, and it they don't pay their dues, the union employees don't get their fat paycheck anymore. There are two union responses to this.

One is to cause problems, to make mountains out of mole hills, so that the employees will always be gaslit into thinking they're being saved from the evil company and they keep their money flow. This can drastically impact the income or productivity of the business, allowing them to be drug down and over come by their rivals more easily, and potentially going under completely, costing everyone their jobs, a massively negative impact on the national economy, the individuals that worked there, and the company owner.

The other, is to get into bed with the company. Every now and again there will be an incident and the union will "save" the individual from the evil company, in exchange if there is ever something the company truly NEEDS and won't budge on, you will see the union suddenly go soft, not willing to push of go to court over anything, because that's not the give and take agreement the union and the business have agreed on to drive fear into the worker in order to further exploit him. One of the best examples I've personally seen of this is there are some jobs you are REQUIRED to join a union to work at, they literally won't let you work there unless YOU pay THEM to work there and as such are enslaved to pay them for whatever they feel like doing in the moment, they don't need to fight for you, because they've already got you in a position you can't leave them unless you quite outright.

In effect, a very small union can be good but a medium to large union will instantly transform into a business of itself, and as such will protect it's income stream which unfortunately for the worker is derived purely from his own fear of being exploited.

It's usually got a lot of expats mixed in, primarily if it's in Tokyo. There's a shit ton of people who's main draw for things like streaming or youtube videos is they're in Tokyo Japan, so they make videos on the subject and can get loads of views from people who try to live vicariously through them with it. They have an abundance of free time, and usually are the type of people to talk about the "problems" of Japanese society and advocate for it's change despite the fact it's someone else's country they're just squatting in. They were also a large part of the blm protests in Tokyo after the Fentanyl Floyd incident, many of them tweeting about it on Japanese twitter as well. There's a whole leech-net of them on Youtube you can find who just hype and feed into each others audience.

Changed Emiya Alters skin tone to be lighter after a great degree of whining about it and comments about how japan is, and for some time they've made veiled comments about lolis and such, to the point people think they'll censor Abby (Summer) who'll be coming out this summer, so we'll see if they change her there. They also changed Osakabehime so she does weeb speak, mixing japnese into her english, instead of her jp speaking mannerisms which were very princess-y and refined, until she relaxed and starting speaking like an otaku. The usual "localizer" and not "translator" things.

Also,

There's a future lostbelt (the next one I think) where a male character (Van Gogh) appears as a female character, as is usual in fate, but this time it becomes a major plot point. I'm not too clear on the finer details, but when it came out in jp, na heard about it and there was a loud outcry from the usual suspects on twitter and reddit calling it transphobic, I'd be willing to bet they'll change things in that lost belt to better suit the trannys, such as forcing the player character to call them different pronouns or generally changing things so they aren't "insensitive".

This song is like a 6 year old kid got told by his mom "Eat your vegetables Timmy, they'll make you grow big and strong, girls love that. You want to be popular with girls don't you?" genuinely believed it and made it his entire personality lmao

My money's on Disney getting tabled, plus what MaskedMan said doing an awful lot to teach ceos to shut the fuck up and not say shit to me unless I pay them to. They're starting to learn almost all companies are in the service industry, and they should be seen and not heard unless the customer specifically pays them to speak.

One of the first things you can do to help fix this (you need time and "communist removal" to fix it in the long term) is to change our law system to Civil Law. Currently we have Common Law which allows judges and the like to use "precedent" to "interpret" laws in certain ways that can undermine the original intent of the law over time, as well as block the ability to enforce those laws properly. When you had "Hawaii judge" blocking all the things trump was doing that was Common law allowing him to do that, using other judges biased judgments to legitimize his own decisions, effectively making judges law makers. Lawyers are only half the law system and they often go on to become judges anyway, by removing this corruptive piece of the system, you can begin to remove the rest of the communistic pieces from it in other ways as well as slow their spreading influence while you do so.

True, but he also seems like a decently smart business man who is slightly less bad (I know that's bad, but we don't exactly have some paragons of virtue to pick from) who should understand the "privacy respecting" part pretty much IS the selling point. Leave a man to hope.

They'll force this shit eventually. Hopefully someone sees this and makes a proper competitor for operating system king sometime soon. I could see Musk doing it if someone pitches the idea to him right.

Don't forget that Russia is both laughably incompetent and being beaten by tractors while simultaneously being a massive threat to world peace that everyone in the world must unite against or else.

obstruction of participation in civic processes

I'm guessing this one means they can block things such as claims/evidence of voter fraud, among other things.

Here's a short-ish version.

Wizards of the coast (the people who make d&d) have been kissing sjw ass for a while now, Twitch leaks showed CR made 9.6 mil, and lefties are filled with envy so now want to eat them all alive. CR says their 3rd campaign will be in a world with SWANA (Southwest asian/north african) cultures. CR says they're going to hire "sensitivity consultants" to help make it. CR eventually does a trailer with their characters which switches to themselves dressed in costume. The costumes are somewhat reminiscent of Indiana Jones, Uncharted, The Mummy etc. and everyone's jumps on them because that's "colonialist" and "traumatic" for "PoC". The writer argues that they make too much money off it, so they aren't relatable anymore and that it's "not just a game" anymore, that "Material wealth leads to material consequences", and that they're all really really white and that's totally bad m'kay. They claim wizards may end up adopting the setting as official in some books, which makes it worse (and conveniently sets wizards up for the killing blow of calling them out/disassociating with them).

"real trials"

You really think they'd do real trials Really? It's pretty obvious all this stuff is done purposefully and maliciously at this point. The way I see it we're seeing them speed run their whole plan. They'd have locked down for a while, then act like "we defeated it!", let people get a taste of freedom, then announced a new variant popped up, and since the lockdowns almost worked last time, we'll do a slightly more heavy lockdown this time, ect ect. Tie in the climate lockdowns we've seen them talk about a few times and all the other crap and you'd get the gist of it.
