It is a superb trilogy. It really mixes up the Arthurian legend, basing the heroes as the early Britons fighting against the Anglo Saxon invaders. I really like the mixing of the Druidic religion with the Christian theologian, painting a picture of what kind of transition of religion we would’ve seen.
It’s a very gritty and dark telling of the Arthurian mythos where the heroes of Camelot are upended and seen in a different light.
Absolutely recommend it.
What’s astounding is how many white middle class kids and adults love rap music. And I really have no idea why.
It’s garbage. I had the pleasure of listening to lil Wayne “sing” the other day (I’ve never listened to him before) and was baffled how he is a multi platinum selling artist who has sold more records than Elvis.
He sucks. Rap sucks. The artists can’t sing. The lyrics are atrocious. The tonal quality of the music is on par with cavemen beating rocks together. The topics are typically vulgar and self serving. It’s awful overall.
I don’t like country music either but at least most of them can carry a tune or write decent Melodies or actually rhyme their words. I don’t like death metal but at least I can respect the talent behind the way they shred their guitars. Rap has no redeeming qualities.
“Everyone feels at home.”
No. No they don’t. Before the woke garbage almost everyone was welcome in restaurants. They aren’t in the business of refusing service because that’s refusing money.
Now by elevating one class of people, many of whom are mentally ill narcissists, they alienate everyone else. People don’t feel welcome and “at home” when they are second class citizens. .
Then don’t go to university. It’s overpriced and degrees are undervalued. You make more in a skilled trade than you do with most college degrees.
And if the cost of living is to high, move to a town or state where it’s lower.
And no I’m not a boomer. My parents are.
I think there is a lot of expectation from millennials and gen z that they should get a 6 figure salary straight out of college. With their gender studies degrees.
Yes, things are expensive. Inflation is high. Life sucks. But manage your expectations. Work hard. Don’t spend what you can’t afford. Pay off your debts. Don’t eat out every night. Don’t buy a new car every 3 years or a new iPhone every time a new one comes out.
If the capitalism they rail against didn’t exist, they would have all the amazing toys they could buy and play with.
It doesn’t matter if she has a degree in science or not. There was nothing technical in what she said. She just spoke common sense.
No flashing of any degree of any level will convince the idiots who lack common sense.
There are non-heavy flamers? What sacrilege is this?
