“Everyone feels at home.”

No. No they don’t. Before the woke garbage almost everyone was welcome in restaurants. They aren’t in the business of refusing service because that’s refusing money.

Now by elevating one class of people, many of whom are mentally ill narcissists, they alienate everyone else. People don’t feel welcome and “at home” when they are second class citizens. .

Not to mention the whole "papers, please" fiasco for dining indoors.

Not surprised. They caved and changed their logo because some idiots on Twitter said it was a whip.

Especially when combined with a container. It is a barrel of crackers. A barrel of black people who were promoted slaves with elevated living conditions in exchange for policing other lower-ranked slaves using a whip... just doesn't make sense. Why a barrel full?

This is the bigger question for me:

Why does a brand of snack food think anyone cares about what its political and social opinions are?

In Australia, “Cracker Barrel” is a cheese (which makes sense, given the name). Just a generic brand of middle-of-the-range cheese…

So this is amusing, coming from that perspective, lol…

"Burgers?" is a meme for this reason.

What a shame. They were one of my favorite places to eat, helped by the fact that I had family who worked there.

But you know the rules.

I can't think of a more tone-deaf move for a company to make. The kind of people that eat at Cracker Barrel don't get down with this garbage.

I love the outrage when you suggest it’s being shoved in our faces. Or the nonsensical “well heterosexuality is shoved in mine” response

After seeing Bud Light, is Cracker Barrel having a "Hold my grits" moment? For fucks sake.

Is this going to change the physical locations at all? If not, the boomers that love Cracker Barrel will never see the digital promotions and will continue their patronage.

This move doesn't surprise me. Don't they give money to BLM or some other woke cause? They weren't neutral during the summer of love, if I recall.

My personal take: Businesses are all about grow grow grow grow grow(driven by people in charge of sales, because they want more money.)

Now, if you stop and think about it for five fucking seconds, this makes no goddamn sense. Market saturation is a thing, niche markets are a thing, and there's only so many people to sell stuff too.

This is where propaganda comes in. The same people driving sales likely fall into the propaganda trap of thinking that all the mentally deranged sexual deviants really do make up over twenty percent of the population(or more). Hey, twenty percent, that's alot of market to sell to!

Except they don't exist. They never have. But they don't know that, because they don't live in reality - they live in a curated zoo surrounded by freaks and suffer from a twisted selection bias.

So we get this.

And as much as I like their food, I hope Cracker Barrel fucking burns for this.
